chp 15

She stopped at a beach.

"What are we doing here?" Sunoo said resting his chin on the edge of the driver's seat. "I've been wanting to go here since I was young.." she said, getting out of the car. All 3 of them watched her walk to the shore.

They stayed inside, letting her have her moment. The wind blows her brunette hair as she walks. "Gosh, she's so pretty" Niki's mind said, smiling. Jay noticed it, and teased him.

She turned around, seeing all 3 of them stare at her.. plus the dog as well. She lifted up her right hand and gestured for them to come out. They got out of the car, Niki bringing Titó along with him.

"Isn't it beautiful?" She asked them, her hair still being blown by the wind. She turned to her right seeing Jay then to her left and Sunoo with Niki. She looked down, seeing Titó with a stick in his mouth. She laughed and took it from his mouth.

She then threw it into the water and laughed at him, seeing him swim, desperate to get the stick. He eventually got it and brought it towards Niki. He chuckled and got it from the sand, throwing it. They all laughed as they saw the dog run for the stick.

"Tag, your it!" Selene touched Jay as she began running "wha- yah!" He ran to her smiling. They started chasing eachother, making Niki and Sunoo smile at them. The 2 sat against the sand, touching and feeling the small sediment run through their fingers and feet. The atmosphere was such a positive, yet comforting vibe.

The sunset, the big waves hitting the shore, titó running with the stick in his mouth, Jay and Selene playing tag, and Niki and Sunoo enjoying the view.

It was a dream.

If she can be honest, she has never gone to a beach. It has been on her bucket-list since she was about 9 years old. She had scenarios of the things she and her family would do when they would go to the beach.

Make a carné asada, play tag with her siblings, swim in the crystal-clear blue ocean, collect shells, and many things. All of the things she could do, if this fucking virus didn't happen at all.

"Yah put me down! You win! You win!" Selene yelled out as she was held against Jay's shoulders. He laughed it off bringing her down. "You remind me so much of my older brother" she tched "he always does that to me" he smiled and ruffled her hair and walked towards Niki and Sunoo.

"Thirsty?" Niki handed a drink to Jay who sat along with them. "Thank you" he drank some from the can. They all soon saw her with Titó, smiling as her white dress flowing back, her hair blowing behind her shoulders, showing her full face with a flower placed on the top her ear, the hair holding it in place.

She was such a renaissance.

She sat down next to Sunoo as the dog sat on her lap, resting his head on Sunoo's thigh. "Don't you ever think the world is a depressing place but deep inside, it's happy when it's supposed to?" She randomly asked them as she looked at the Sunset . "No why?" Sunoo replied back facing her.

"It's nothing" she faced him "just asking" and looked back at the sunset. She just out of knowwhere where smiled and closed her eyes, feeling the breeze hit her face. She felt alive.

She then rested her head gently against Sunoo's shoulder, smiling. She finally did one of her top 3 things on her
bucket-list. She has never smiled so much.

"Photo time!" She got up and happily squealed. They all just looked at her, running to the car, grabbing the camera. She smiled widely, showing her deep dimple that's on the right of her cheek. "You should smile more" Niki simply said crossing his arms, smiling at her.

Selene blushed at the comment "jah!" she covered her face with her hands, smiling. They all laughed at her cuteness. She then shrugged it off, turning the camera around, pointing it at them. Click. The bright flash flew across their eyes.

The photo came out, showing all 4 of them together, Selene smiling with her deep dimple, Niki and Sunoo giving eachother bunny ears with their fingers, and Jay, surprisingly, with Titó who had his stick.

Such a great memory.

She got a sharpie from the bag and put in "April 27<3" and placed it in her photo collection. She put it away back in her bag. She looked at them who were slightly smiling at her. "I love you guys." She said hugging them all at once. They hugged her back. "We love you too."

Finally getting tired after a while, they found a motel next to the beach and stayed there. This time its Niki and Sunoo on one bed and the other is Jay and Selene. Titó on the floor as always, but with an extra blanket and pillow.

"Goodnight Jay-shi" she said finally getting comfortable on the bed. Facing him on her right side. "Goodnight Selene" he smiled lastly before slowly shutting his eyes. Selene quietly chuckled and did the same thing.

and with that, Dreamland arrived.
