chp. 21

Waking up with the sunrise hitting his face, Jay fluttered his eyes open. He looked around seeing the rest still asleep. He looked at Selene, who is seen with her hand squishing her cheek, making her look like a baby. He quietly cackled at her cuteness.

Beside that, he looked out the window, seeing that she stopped at an empty parking lot in the middle of nowhere. He sighed. Not knowing what to do, he got her phone and checked the time. "7:00" and placed it down.

He sighed and removed the neck-pillow that Selene gave him. He looked over at her, noticing her uncomfortable position as she had her back rested against the door and head on the window. He shifted and opened the door that was to his right. He went around the car and stood next to the driver's door.

He opened it, catching Selene in time before she would've fallen down. He noticed she got comfortable with his touch and exhaled, not knowing what to do. He thought about something, not knowing if she would mind.

He sighed and got Selene in a bridal style and sat down onto the driver's seat, placing her onto his lap. She was in a position, sitting on top of Jay's lap. Nothing sexual, he was at least trying to get her comfortable, so she could sleep peacefully.

Selene suddenly placed her head on Jay's shoulder and covered herself with the blanket, making him smile and pat her head. He got the keys and turned on the engine, beginning to drive, with only one arm. His other arm was in care behind Selene's back, so she would get hurt with the armrest. 

After a while, Niki, woke up due to the slight swervy road, not expecting to see Jay driving in a not so comfortable spot  "Jay?" He woke up with a red mark against his cheek and messy hair. He fluttered his eyes open, seeing Selene on top of Jay's lap. That really woke him up.

Jay looked beside him, seeing Niki stretch out, gesturing him to hand Selene over to him. Jay raised his eyebrows, seeing if he can follow his lead . Niki nodded. "I know her, trust me" and opened his arms.

Jay soon after stopped the car, and carefully lifted Selene with his arms. Successfully, Jay handed her to Niki without waking her up. He placed her on top of his lap and rested her head on his shoulder. She snuggled onto it, making Niki quietly laugh due to being ticklish.

Jay began driving properly, with both arms. "Where too?" Niki simply asked trying not to move. Jay shrugged, focusing on the road. "Imma just follow the road from where Selene was driving too" he looked at Niki who was seen looking at the peaceful girl who was sleeping on him.

"You guys look cute together" he grinned at Niki who's ears lifted up from the comment. His ears grew hot, with a face that had a slight tint of pink. Jay just giggled and faced the road.

After a while of driving, a sign can be shown on the right side of the road. "She was heading to Mexico?" He knitted his eyebrows. He had thought about why she wanted to go to Mexico, but just drove it off.

On the other hand, Jake woke up. He grunts at the bumpy road. "Anyone else awake?" He woke up with sleepy eyes and messy hair. Niki turned around seeing a mess. "Me but shh" he pointed at Selene. Jake nodded and sat up with Titó. He looked at him and smiled at him before patting his head.

He went towards and rested his arms on the seats. He saw Sunghoon barely waking up and Sunoo playing with his hands. He giggled at them two. He then leaned back onto his pillow and sighed.

"Where are we?" Jake questioned seeing Jay in the driver's seat. "Selene was heading to Mexico.. so I'm guessing we're going there" he looked at him through the rear mirror. Jake nodded and rested his head.

"This is going to be a long ride" he mumbled to himself, before looking at the window.
