Next day,
At the breakfast table,Sidharth's grandfather told their decision about Sidharth and Anabia's marriage to the whole family.
" Yahoo, bhaijaan aur aapi ka nikah hoga", Shehnaaz said happily,side hugging her Anabia aapi.
Everyone in the family was happy to hear about it except Asad and Anabia. Both of them like each other and want to get married.
Even Asad was about to talk with Sidharth bhaijaan about his marriage with Anabia. But before he could say anything, their family made this decision.
He neither can't see his love getting married with his brother nor he can snatch his brother's happiness from him. After much difficulty,his brother had agreed to marry someone and he couldn't hurt him.
He was sitting on the dining table having a fake smile on his face and pain in his eyes.
Anabia was looking towards him with tears in her eyes.
" Excuse me", Asad said and went from there. Anabia was looking at his back with Longing eyes.
For the next two weeks, both Asad and Anabia were avoiding each other, trying to hide their pain from their families but they were not able to hide it from the sharp eyes of Nawab Sidharth Ahmed Khan.
One day before the marriage, Sidharth asked Asad and Anabia to meet him at the terrace.
Asad and Anabia were shocked to see each other.
" Bhaijaan aap ne hume yaha kyu bulaya hai? Kya baat hai?", Asad asked Sidharth.
" Yeh toh mujhe puchne chahiye tum dono se. Meine tum dono ka chehra dekha tha jab dadajaan ne mere aur Anabia ke nikah ke baat ki thi. Mujhe sach batao?", Sidharth asked in his dominating voice.
" Kaisa sach bhaijaan?", Asad said, not meeting his eyes.
Anabia was trying to hold her tears but failed.
" Anabia tum batao…. Kya tum ess rishte se khush ho?? Kya tum Asad ko pasand karti ho?? Dekho mujhe sach batao", Sidharth said sternly.
Hearing Sidharth, Anabia started sobbing. Asad was feeling pain in his heart seeing Anabia sobbing badly.
His eyes also got wet, seeing her in this state.
Sidharth went close to Anabia and stood in front of her at an appropriate distance.
" Tell me the truth Anabia so that I can help you both.…please. Do you like Asad and want to marry him??", Sidharth said. Sidharth wants nothing more than happiness of his brother and Anabia.
Anabia nodded her head in yes while sobbing badly.
" What about you Asad?? Do you want to marry Anabia?? I want to hear the truth only", Sidharth said in his dominating voice.
" Jii bhaijaan", Asad said, taking a deep breath.
" Don't worry Anabia. I will talk with elders. Tumhara nikah usse se hoga jisse tum karna chahti ho…Yeh Nawab Sidharth Ahmed Khan ka vada hai", Sidharth said in a strong voice.
" Aur tum Asad, Anabia ko humesha Khush rakhna…mujhe uski aankhon mein tumhari wajah se aansu nahi dekhne chahiye", Sidharth warned Asad.
" Jii ", Asad said with determination.
" Thank you, bhaijaan", Anabia said to Sidharth.
" Khush raho", Sidharth said, placing his hands on their heads, blessing them as their elder.
Unknown to them, someone was listening to their talks. That person was none other than Shehnaaz. She was happy for her sister knowing she was getting the love of her life but she was sad that her sister didn't share her feelings with her.
She was thankful to Sidharth for understanding their feelings and helping them.
Sidharth left the terrace and went to his grandparents room to talk with them. He had already messaged his parents and his uncles, aunts to gather in his grandparents room.
" Sidharth yeh tum kya keh rahe ho. Kal Nikah hai aur tum chahte ho hum dulha badal de. Sarre mehman aa chuke hai. Sab ko pata hai kal Humare Nawab ka nikah hai aur ab tum yeh sab keh rahe ho '', Sidharth's grandfather said.
" Dadajaan woh dono ek dusre ko pasand karte hai. Yeh Nikah na main chahta hu na Anabia toh kya matlab hai ess nikah ka agar Anabia khush hi na ho. Maine faisla kar liya hai ke kal Anabia aur Asad ka Nikah hoga aur yeh faisla main aapka Nawab hone ke hakk se le raha hu", Sidharth said without leaving any chance of argument.
They can't deny his decision since he is their Nawab.
At last, everyone agreed to get Asad married with Anabia tomorrow instead of Sidharth.
In the night, Farhad and Bushra were in their room. They were happy for their daughter but sad for Sidharth.
Sidharth had finally agreed to marry someone and now his wedding got delayed again.
" Mere liye Asad ya Sidharth mein koi farak nahi hai. Dono hi hamari aankhon ke samne bade huye hai. I know Asad will keep Anabia happy but mujhe Sidharth ki tension hi rahi hai. Woh humara Nawab hai. Kal jab sabko pata chale ga ki Sidharth ka nikah nahi ho rha balki Asad ka ho rha hai toh, Sidharth aur humare khandan ke kitne badnami hogi. Aur uske zimmedar kahi na kahi hum hai. Agar humne Anabia se phle hi puch liya hota to ye sab nahi hota", Farhad said to his wife
" Main jaanti hu par ab hum kr bhi kya sakte hai", Bushra said, sighing.
" kar sakte hai agar tum mera saath do toh", Farhad said to her.
" Main kuch samjhi nahi", Bushra asked.
" Hum Shehnaaz ka nikah kar sakte hai Sidharth ke saath", Farhad told her.
" Shehnaaz?? Haa jrur kyu nahi", Bushra said happily.
" Par usse pehle hume Shehnaaz se baat karni hogi. Hume usse puchna hoga ki kya woh kisi ko pasand karti hai. Hum wahi galti dobara nahi kar sakte", Farhad said.
" Jii", Bushra replied.
Both of them decided to talk with Shehnaaz right now because they have very little time since tomorrow is the marriage.
On the other hand, Ahmed and Sumaita were happy for Asad but feeling sad for Sidharth. Sidharth is their elder son so obviously they want to see him getting married before his younger siblings.
Next day,
Some hours before Nikah,
" Aap logo ko pata hai aap kya khe rahe hai?? Main aur Shehnaaz?? Woh mujhse kitne choti hai…we have a huge age gap", Sidharth said, trying to make them understand.
" Toh kya hua Sidharth….age is just a number. It doesn't matter. Asad aur Anabia ke nikah ki baat mani na humne tumhare kehne par ab tum hamari baat mano aur Shehnaaz se nikah karlo", Sidharth's father said.
" Main ha bhi kardu par kya Shehnaaz manege iss Nikah ke liye??", Sidharth asked, raising his eyebrows.
" Usne pehle hi haan karde hai Sidharth", Sidharth's grandmother told him.
" Kab?", Sidharth asked.
" Kal raat ko", Shehnaaz's mother told him.
Sidharth was shocked to hear this.
" Isse pehle main koi decision lu mujhe Shehnaaz se kuch baat karni hai….main usse sunna chahta hu ki woh iss Nikah ke liye tyar hai ya nahi", Sidharth told them.
" Thik hai… '', Sidharth's grandfather said.
