Chapter 6

" Yes!! It was you, Sana….I was trying to find you only…..my love ", Sidharth confessed, smiling.

" Really??", Sana asked him with hopeful eyes.

" Yes, my love!! I love you a lot. I am sorry for giving you pain. Please forgive me. I promise I will never let you cry in the future. I will prove myself the best husband ", Sidharth said, pleasing her.

Sana got emotional and hugged him tightly with wet eyes.

" Please never leave me again….", Sana said sobbing.

" Never ... .You are my breath. How can someone live without breathing?? ", Sidharth said, rubbing her back, trying to calm her.

One month later,

In this month, they had come very close to each other. Sana has also shifted to his room, making him happy.

Today they are going to the Village for Sidharth's sister's Baby Shower ( Godh Bharai).

Sana is very excited to meet her family. Sidharth was smiling seeing her happy all day.

It has been more than a month since Sidharth had returned home but no one in the family knows about it.

Sana wants to tell everyone about everything being sorted out between them but Sidharth denies it. He wants Sana for himself for a few days before his family comes and disturbs them. Moreover, Sidharth wants to give their family a big surprise.

Sana is going to the Village in the morning while Sidharth will come in the afternoon after finishing his work.

" I will wait for you", Sana said to Sidharth, playing with his shirt's button.

" I will come within a few hours. Spend some time with our families because once I reach there, I will not share you with anyone ", Sidharth said kissing her forehead, making her smile.

" Okay!!", Sana said, smiling shyly.

Sana makes her way towards the village with the driver while Sidharth went to his office.

After reaching the village, Sana went to her in-laws' house happily.

" Namaste Dada ji, Dadi ji", Sana said, touching their feet.

" Always be happy ", they said, keeping their hand on her head, giving her blessings.

" How are you, my child??", Sidharth's grandmother asked, caressing her face.

" I am fit and fine. How are you both?? I hope you both are taking your medicine on time", Sana asked them, raising her eyebrows.

"Don't look at me like that. I always take my medicine on time, it's your Dada ji who neglects his health", Sidharth's Grandmother complained.

" Dada ji", Sana said, glaring at him.

" What should I do?? I can't eat those bitter medicines", Sidharth's grandfather said, making faces.

" Those medicines are necessary for your health. Let's do one thing, you eat your medicine on time and I will make your favourite kesar Wali kheer. Okay?", Sana asked, trying to convince him.

"Deal", Sidharth's grandfather said, forwarding his hand, like a businessman sealing the deal.

" Deal", Sana said, shaking his hand.

" Sana??"Sidharth's mother said excitedly.

" Maa", Sana said, running towards her and hugging her.

Sana got busy with the family members. She told them about her college and exams. She didn't tell them about Sidharth because he wanted to give them a surprise.

In the evening, Sana and her in-laws got ready and went to her house for Sidharth's sister aka Sana's Bhabhi's baby shower.

Sana happily met with her family members. She helped her sister-in-law in getting ready in a beautiful saree for the baby shower.

" You are looking beautiful, Bhabhi", Sana said to Kavya, her sister-in-law.

" Thank you", Kavya replied blushing.

Sana took her downstairs where all the women were present for the function. In the Village, no men are allowed to participate in the baby shower ritual.

All the married women gave blessings to Kavya and her child.

Sana danced with other girls at the function, making Kavya happy.

But as always, some women were busy gossiping about Sana and Sidharth's relationship. Sana ignored those women.

When Sana and Sidharth's families heard the gossip, they felt bad for Sana. They felt like it was their mistake to get Sana married to Sidharth.

Once the function was finished, all the village women went to their house, leaving only the Khurana and Goenka families in the house.

After the function, male of their families also come inside the hall.  They gave Kavya some gifts for the  baby.

Everyone was sitting together and having a great time. Everyone was very excited about the upcoming child since it was the first child of the next generation in both houses.

Sana messaged Sidharth, asking him when he would reach here but got no reply.

She got sad getting no reply. She was missing him badly. Everyone in their family was present here except him.

Seeing Sana sad, her father thought she was sad due to the gossip and because of Sidharth's attitude towards their relationship.

He finally decided to talk with Sana about her divorce from Sidharth.

He went to his room and came outside with some papers.

" Sana, sign these papers", her father said, giving her the papers.

" What papers?", Sana asked him, opening the envelope.

Sana's eyes widened seeing the papers inside the envelope.

" Divorce….papers….", Sana said, stammering.

" Yes!! Divorce papers…it's time that you left that scoundrel and marry someone else. I can't let you destroy your life behind him.", Sana's father said with anger in his eyes towards Sidharth.

" What are you saying?? You don't know anything…Sidharth….", Sana said, trying to tell her father about Sidharth.

" Sana, your father is saying the right thing. When we got you married to Sidharth we never thought he would behave like this. We love you a lot and want to see you happy. Maybe you were never destined to stay with us as our daughter-in-law but remember you will always remain our daughter ", Sidharth's grandfather said in a painful voice.

" It's better if you sign the divorce papers and finish your relationship with Sidharth", Sidharth's father said to her.

" What the hell?? You guys want my wife to divorce me ... .How could you??"They heard Sidharth's furious voice.

Everyone turned towards the main gate and saw Sidharth standing in his full glory. He was looking at them with fury-filled eyes.
