Chapter 1

Blueberry Cafe, London

We can see a beautiful girl sitting with her friends on a table, playing truth and dare.

“ Shehnaaz, Truth or Dare?”, one of her friends asked her.

“ Truth”, Shehnaaz replied to her friend.

It’s her last day in London since she is going back to India tomorrow after completing her post graduation.

“ Ohh. Come on Shehnaaz. You always choose truth. It's your last day here. At least today, try something daring”,, her friend, Sophia said.

“ Fine, Dare”, Rania said confidently.

“ Great!! I will give you the dare”, her other friend, Rose, said.

“ You have to kiss that guy”, Rose said, pointing towards a very handsome man who was entering the cafe, talking to someone on the phone.

“ No way!! I am not going to miss any stranger. My kiss is reserved for my first love”, Shehnaaz said, shaking her head.

“I know. I am not asking you to kiss him on the lips. Just give him a kiss on his cheek”, Rose said.

“ No!”Shehnaaz said, not agreeing for a cheek kiss as well.

“ Don't be a spoilsport. It's not a big deal”, her friends insist.

“ Okay”, Shehnaaz agreed, hesitantly.

She slowly walked towards the man. She stood silently behind him.

“ You can do this Shehnaaz”, She thought in her mind.

She hurriedly kissed him on his cheek. The man was shocked to be kissed by some stranger.

“ I am really sorry. It was just a dare. I am sorry”, Shehnaaz mumbled and left the cafe without turning back.

She met her friends outside the cafe.

“ You did it Shehnaaz”, her friends praised her.

“ I should not have kissed him. It was so embarrassing”, Shehnaaz mumbled.

“ I need to go back. I have my flight in the evening”, Shehnaaz said and left from there.

She took the flight in the evening and left for her country. She was very excited to meet her family after a long time.

Next day

“ Bhai”, Shehnaaz said, running towards her brother who was waiting for her outside the airport.

“ Choti”, Her brother, Mohit, said, hugging her happily.

“ I missed you so much”, She mumbled.

“But I didn't miss  you”, he said, teasing her.

“ Bhai you are so bad”, she said, hitting him on his stomach slightly.

“ Aah…okay…okay…I will not tease you again “, Mohit said and they left for their home.

After half an hour, they entered the restricted area of their city, which belongs to the Royal family.

Their father had worked as an Advisor of the previous King and now Shehnaaz 's brother also works as an Advisor for their New King Sidharth Singh Shekhawat.

Their family has been loyal to the Royal family from generation to generation.

They live in a house which is built for loyal employees of the Royal family.

Shehnaaz saw her house with moist eyes. She ran inside the house without waiting for her brother.

“ Maa, papa”, she shouted entering the house.

“ Mera bacha”, her father said, coming towards her.

He hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go of his only daughter who has been away from him for a long time .

“ Miss you, Papa”, she said emotionally.

“ I missed you too”, he said, kissing her forehead.

“ Mujhe bhi toh Milne do meri beti c”, her mother said, coming close to them.

“ Maa”, Riana said and went to her.

“Maa ki yaad aa gayi tujhe”, her mother said, teasing her.

“ Aayi na bahut yaad aayi”she said, softly with teary eyes.

“ Acha chal ja kar fresh ho ja.Main khana lagati hu”, Her mother said to her.

“ Okay”, Shehnaaz said and went to her room.

She looked around and saw her room. She unpacked her bags and went to take a shower.

After changing clothes,she went downstairs where her family was waiting for her.

“ Wow…Thank you Maa”, Shehnaaz said, seeing her favourite dishes on the table.

She sat down and started eating and enjoying her favourite food.

“ Maine aapke haath ka khana waha bahut miss kiya”, Shehnaaz said to her mother.

“ Aab tu aa gayi hai na toh main tujhe kahi jane nahi dungi aur roj tujhe aapne haatho se khilaoge. Dekho kitne kamjor ho gayi hai”, her mother said,like all desi mothers.

“ I am done. Mujhe ab Jana hoga”, her brother said, getting up from the table.

“aap kha ja raho ho bhai?”, she asked him.

“ Aaj Hukum Sa vapis aa rahe hai. Mujhe unse milne palace jana hai”, He told her.

“ Maine suna hai ki Hukum Sa bhut hi khadoos hai, aap unke saath kam kaise krte ho bhai?”, Shehnaaz said to him.

“ Shehnaaz…aisa nahi kehte beta. Woh hamare Hukum hai. Unke baare mein izzat se baat karo”, her father said strictly.

“ Sorry”, she mumbled slightly.

“ Aasa nahi hai bacha. Woh upper se gusse wale hai but dil ke bahut saaf hai. Jab se woh Hukum bane hai, unhone aam logo ke liye bhut kuch kiya hai. Woh jis position par hai, uss position ko sambhalna itna aasan nahi hai”, her brother said, trying to make her understand.

She nodded her head, understanding his point.

Two days later,

She was in her room, getting ready to meet her old friends.

She was about to leave the house when she got a call from her brother.

“ Riana kya tum free ho?”, her brother asked.

“ Yes!!”she replied.

“ Actually main ek file apne room mein bhul  gya hu aur mujhe woh abhi chahiye the. If you don't mind,kya tum woh file palace la sakti ho”, he asked her.

“ Yes, Bhai. I will be there soon”,she said smiling.

“ Great”, he said and hung up the call.

She went to his room and picked the file before going towards the palace.

Passing the security check, she entered the garden of the Royal palace where her brother was waiting for her.

“ Thank you, Choti”, he said to her.

“ It's okay, Bhai. Mujhe apne friends se milne Jana hai….Bye”, Shehnaaz said and went from there.

Unknown to her, someone was observing her since she entered the palace.
