Chapter 2

Two weeks later,

It has been two weeks since Shehnaaz has shifted to her hometown.

“ Dad, I was thinking of joining some company to gain some experience”, She said to her father.

“ Yeh toh achi baat hai. Agar tum kaho toh mein Bade Hukum se baat karu tumhare liye”, her father said.

“ Umm Dad mein soch rahi thi ki kisi aur company mein join karu”, she said hesitantly.

“ Nahi beta! Hume lagta hai ke aapke liye Shekhawat group of companies mein Kam karna hi safe rahe ga. Moreover, Shekhawat group of companies hamare desh ke best company hai. It will be a great experience for you”, her father said.

“ Okay!!”, she said hesitantly. She was feeling a little nervous about working in such a big company for the first time.

“ Tum kal chalna mere saath palace. Main baat karta hu bade Hukum se”, her father said.

Next day,

Shehnaaz got ready and went with her father to the palace.

Her father took her to a study room where Bade Hukum was waiting for them.

Her father knocked on the door before entering the room with her.

They greet Bade Hukum with respect. Shehnaaz was feeling nervous since it was her first time meeting the Royal family.

“ Main tumhara hi intezar kar raha tha. Tum Shehnaaz ho na?? Kitne badi ho gayi ho tum…Tum uss samay paida huyi thi jab humne tumhe dekha tha”, Bade Hukum said in his intimidating voice,looking at her from head to toe.

Shehnaaz gave him a nervous smile.

“ Don't be afraid,my child. Main bhi tumhare pita jaisa hi hu”, Bade Hukum said, softening his voice.

“ Ji”, Shehnaaz said, smiling softly. She never knows,Bade Hukum was so easy to talk

Later Bade Hukum checked her documents and asked her some basic questions.

They were talking when someone knocked on the door.

“ Come in”, Bade Hukum said.

“Sidharth hum aapko hi bulane Wale the”, Bade Hukum said, seeing his elder son entering the room.

“ Hukum Sa”, Shehnaaz 's father, got up from his chair in respect.

Shehnaaz followed her father and stood beside her father, keeping her eyes lowered. She could feel his dominating aura, filling the room.

“ Yeh Shehnaaz hai, Mohan ki beti. Humne suna hai ki aap assistant dhund rahe hai?”, Bade Hukum asked him.

“ Hmm”, Sidharth aka Hukum Sa replied.

“ Shehnaaz kaisi rahegi as your assistant. She is highly qualified and needs some experience. I think it will be a good opportunity for her to learn something from you. What do you think?”, Bade Hukum asked his son hesitantly.

Sidharth Singh Shekhawat is the current Hukum of their empire so even Bade Hukum,his father,needs to respect his decision and don't have the courage to question him or order him.

“ Send her to my cabin tomorrow morning”, He said in his dominating voice before leaving the study room.

Shehnaaz shivered, hearing his dominating voice. She didn't even get the chance to see his face.

“ Hukum Sa agreed?”Shehnaaz 's father whispered in shock.

“ Even I can't believe it”, Bade Hukum said. Bade Hukum was sured that Sidharth will not agree but he just wants to try his luck. But who knows he will agree so easily.

Shehnaaz was not understanding what was happening with her. She just wants to work in a company to gain some experience and now she is going to work directly under Hukum Sa.

Later, Shehnaaz and her father return to their house.

In the evening,when her brother got to know about this,he was a little shocked but felt happy for his sister. Although working under Hukum Sa is a little difficult, it's going to be a great experience for Shehnaaz. He gave her some advice about how to not make Hukum Sa angry and so on.

Next day,

Shehnaaz was standing outside the cabin of Hukum Sa. She took a deep breath, gathered some courage and knocked on the door.

“ Come in”, she heard an authoritative voice.

She entered the room, keeping her eyes down.

“ Good morning,Hukum Sa”, Shehnaaz said, greeting him.

“ What's your name?”, he asked her in his deep voice.

“ Shehnaaz Rajput”, she replied and looked up to see his face.

Her eyes widened and she gasped loudly seeing the man in front of her.

He was the same man whom she had kissed inside the cafe in London.

He was looking at her keenly, with a blank face.

“ What happened,Miss Rajput?”, he asked her with a blank face.

“ Nothing…. nothing”, she said, hurriedly.

“ Maybe he doesn't remember me”, she thought and sighs in relief.

“ Come here”, he said to her, looking in her eyes, asking her to stand in front of him.

“ Umm…”, she doesn't know what to say.

“Come here!!”, he repeated.

She makes her way towards him taking small steps.

He held her arm and pulled her towards himself, making her fall in his lap. He wrapped his arms around her, making her sit properly in his lap.

“ What are you doing,Hukum Sa? Please leave me “, She said, trying to free herself.

“ Are you not going to take responsibility?”, he asked her, smirking slightly.

“For what?”, she asked,not getting his point.

“ Responsibility towards me,for kissing me in front of everyone”, he said, smirking.

“ You…you remembered?”, she asked, stammering.

“ Of Course I remember. A girl has taken advantage of me, how can I forget you?”, he asked her, making an innocent face.

“I have already said sorry to you. It was just a stupid dare. Please forget everything and forgive me,Hukum Sa”, She said, requesting.

“ Sidharth….call me Sidharth and I  can't forgive you. You need to take responsibility “, he said to her.

“ How??”, she asked him in a weak voice. She has no option but to accept the punishment silently.

“ You need to take responsibility by marrying me, sweetheart..”, he said innocently.

“ What are you saying,Hukum Sa?”, she asked in disbelief.

“ Sidharth…”, he said, getting irritated.

“ Aap pagal ho Gaye hai. Leave me…”, she said, getting angry. He loosen his grip, letting her move away from him.

“ Why are you getting angry? I should be the one who should get angry,since you took advantage of me and not the other way”, he said to her.

“ Arrgh….”, she stomped her foot and made her way towards the door.

“Dubara kissi stupid game ke liye kisi ko  kiss mat karna, because now only I have the right to kiss you”, he said, teasing her.

She left the room without turning back, slamming the door with force.

“ Tujhe koi aur nahi Mila tha uss din kiss karne ke liye”, Shehnaaz mumbled, cursing herself.
