Chapter 2

" It's time for my princess' bath", Sidharth said, smiling.

He is a very strict man. He is strict to everyone except his daughter. Everyone in the family respects him, including his father and his uncle.

Sidharth joined the family business when he was only 24 years old and now at the age of 30, he has taken their business to new heights.

He is a role model to his cousins Aarohi and Abhay.

He has gained everyone's respect with his hard work.

He was a complete workaholic before the birth of his daughter. But after Isha's birth, he always tries to spend time with his daughter.

He took Isha to the washroom and gave her a bath.

" Princess, don't throw water on me", Sidharth said, trying to avoid water.

" Papa….bath…..", Isha said, giggling while splashing water on Sidharth.

Isha can pronounce words but she can't speak long sentences clearly.

"Papa ne already bath le liya hai, mujhe dubara nhi chahiye, you naughty girl", Sidharth said, kissing her nose.

Isha didn't say anything,just giggled.

Sidharth took her downstairs after making her wear soft clothes.

Sidharth's whole family was waiting on the dining table for Sidharth and his daughter.

Sidharth sat on the chair with Isha in his arms.

" Dadi…maa", Isha asked Madhu.

" Woh kal aaye ge tumse milne, baby", Madhu said, caressing her face.

Everyone got confused hearing their talk except Sidharth.

Sidharth got busy in making Isha eat with his own hands.

Madhu noticed everyone's confused face and told them everything about Sana.

" Meine kl Gill family ko dinner pr invite kiya hai", Madhu informed others.

" Yeh apne bahut acha kiya bhabhi", Sidharth's chachi, Neha said.

Next day,

Sana along with her family reached the Shukla house in the evening.

When Sana entered the house, she was welcomed by Isha with hugs and kisses.

Isha didn't leave her and refused to go to anyone.

" Isha beta, mere paas aao", Madhu ji said.

" No", Isha said, hugging Sana tightly.

" Koi baat nhi aunty, isse mere paas hi rehne dijiye", Sana said, caressing Isha's head.

" Sidharth nahi aaya?"Rahul, Sana's brother asked.

" He is on the way", Rohan, Sidharth's chachu said.

After some time, Sidharth came and everyone sat on the dining table for dinner.

Sidharth  tries to take Isha to make her feed but Isha refuses to leave Sana. She hides herself in Sana's bosom.

"Papa..no..….. Isha…. eat ….mama", Isha said.

Sidharth was shocked seeing this. It was the first time that Isha refused to come to him.

Everyday Sidharth is the one who makes Isha eat. Isha never let anyone else make her eat but today she wants to eat from Sana's hands.

He was a little bit jealous when Isha told Sana to make her feed.

He didn't let his emotions show on his face.

Sana gives a smile to Sidharth before making Isha feed with her hands.

Sidharth's heart skipped a beat,seeing Sana smile.

He eats his dinner with a blank face. Sana was talking with Abhay and Aarohi while making Isha eat.

Since the three of them are the same age, they have become good friends.

Later in the night, Sana's family was ready to leave the house.

Sidharth comes close to Sana to take the sleeping Isha from her hands.

Sidharth picks Isha in his arms, making Sana hiss and move close to Sidharth.

Isha was holding Sana's hair in her hand tightly.

Sana tried to remove the hair but Isha was not ready to leave.

" Mein help kr deti hu. Wait a minute", Aarohi said and helped Sana in freeing her hairs from Isha's grip.

After five minutes, Sana returned home with her family while Sidharth took Isha to his room.

He made Isha lay on the bed and put the pillows around her, before going to the washroom.

He  took a shower and went to the couch with his laptop, working on a project.

Some days passed,

Sana and Isha's relationship has become stronger these days.

Sometimes Sana comes to meet Isha and sometimes Isha goes to Sana's house

One day, Madhu and  Rishabh were sitting in their room.

" Hamari Isha, Sana ke sath kitne khush rehte hai na. Sana ne toh uski maa ki kami puri karde hai….", Madhu said to his husband, Rishabh.

"I know what you are trying to say,Madhu but it's not possible. She can't be Sidharth's bride", Rishabh said.

" But why? Tumhe pata hai she is best for Isha and Sidharth. Mein bus aapne bete aur poti ko khush dekhna chahti hu,"Madhu asked.

" Mein janta hu par yeh possible nhi hai. Firstly their age difference and secondly Sidharth is a widower while she is an unmarried girl. That's the fact aur Sana ke aage uski puri zindagi padi hai. Aur tum hi batao kya Sana ke parents manege es shadi ke liye?", Rishabh said, trying to make her understand.

" Aap ek baar unse baat karke toh dekho", Madhu said, pleasing him.

" Agar mein unse baat karu aur agar unhone haan kar bhi de toh tumhare bete ka kya?? Sidharth mane ga ess shadi ke liye?"Rishabh asked her.

" Sidharth ko mein handle kar lungi. Aap bs  Manik bhai sahab se baat kijiye", Madhu said.

" Theek hai but tum jyada umeed mat rakhna", Rishabh said. He doesn't want her to get upset if Sana's parents deny the marriage proposal.

" Theek hai", Madhu said happily.
