Chapter 4

Sidharth was waiting outside the doctor's cabin for his Farhad chachu to come back.

" Chachu", Sidharth said, seeing him coming out.

Sidharth was shocked seeing his chachu's wet eyes.

" Chachu kya hua hai? Please bataye mujhe…please Chachu..main aapka beta hu na…please mujhe sach bataiye", Sidharth pleased him.

" Sidharth", Farhad hugged Sidharth crying.

" Chachu", Sidharth whispered, hugging him back.

" Chachu aap bathiye yha. Main aapke liye pani lata hu" Sidharth said and brought him a glass of water.

Sidharth makes him drink water, making him calm down a little bit.

" Ab bataiye kya baat hai?"Sidharth asked him.

" Shehnaaz woh bhut bimaar hai. She is suffering from brain tumour", Shehnaaz's father told him painfully.

" Kya?? But kab? Kaise?? Aap Ko kab pata chala aur aapne mujhe ya ghar mein kisi ko bataya kyu nahi?''Sidharth asked, feeling shocked.

He can't believe his Shehnaaz is suffering from this deadly disease.

Shehnaaz's father told him everything about how Shehnaaz got to know about this and when she told them the truth.

" Isse liye Shehnaaz ne uss din Nikah se mana kiya tha", Shehnaaz's father told him.

Sidharth had tears in his eyes knowing the truth. His Shehnaaz has been suffering from pain for the past six months and he has no idea about it.

"Hamari Shehnaaz ko kuch nahi hoga chachu…..kuch nahi...woh jaldi hi theek ho jaye ge '', Sidharth said with determination.

" Main bhi yahi dua karta hu", Shehnaaz's father said, wiping his tears.

" Mujhe Shehnaaz se milna hai '', Sidharth said to Shehnaaz's father.

" Chlo main tumhe le chalta hu", Shehnaaz's father said.

Shehnaaz's father led him towards Shehnaaz's hospital room.  Sidharth meets with Shehnaaz's mother outside the room.

" Sidharth?", Shehnaaz's mother was shocked to see Sidharth in front of her.

" Tum andar jao Sidharth.", Shehnaaz's father said

" Jii", Sidharth said and entered the room.

Shehnaaz was lying on the bed with her eyes closed. Her face was pale and she was looking very weak.

His eyes were wet seeing his Shehnaaz lying on the bed weakly.

He went close to her and caressed her face softly.

Shehnaaz opened her eyes slowly, feeling something soft on her face.

" Shehnaaz", Sidharth whispered, making Shehnaaz confused.

" Shehnaaz tu phir se sapna dekh rahi hai", Shehnaaz mumbled, closing her eyes again.

" Shehnaaz", Sidharth whispered again, with tears in his eyes.

Shehnaaz felt something wet on her cheek, making her open her eyes again.

She saw Sidharth sitting near her.He had tears in his eyes.  The wetness she felt a moment ago was nothing but Sidharth's tears which had fallen on her cheeks.

" Sidharth", Shehnaaz whispered, holding his face in her hands weakly.

" Aap sach me yha hai…", Shehnaaz whispered.
