With Lila exposed and punished, Marinette can enjoy her double life in peace. However, a certain black cat wants to win back his lady and get rid of a certain spider who is in his way.
Ladybug and I searched the whole of Paris for Chat Noir until we stopped for a break. Ladybug slumped her shoulders in dismay as she looked over at Paris. I perched on the ledge and sighed.
"Well, chances are that he might've gone home." I said.
"I had a feeling he would react this way. I just wished it didn't come to this. Who knows what will happen next?" Ladybug said in dismay.
Suddenly, my spidey senses acted up and I tackled Ladybug out of the way, dodging a staff aimed at us. As we got up, we saw Chat Noir dressed in all white with his icy blue eyes glaring at us.
"Well now, am I interrupting something?" He said with a grin.
"Chat Noir?" Ladybug gasped.
"It's Chat Blanc now. And you know what, white suits me better. It matches the eyes." He replied.
"You let Hawkmoth akumatize you? For what!?!" I shouted in anger.
"Simple. To make Marinette mine and get rid of you." Chat Blanc replied as he extended his staff at me.
I quickly backflipped away from the edge and started web swinging around the city. Chat Blanc followed me with his staff, while Ladybug used her yo-yo to follow us. As the chase continued, we saw the onlookers below us, taking pictures and recording us. Chat Blanc smirked as he slashed my webbing with his staff. I quickly used my bioelectricity to blitz towards Chat Blanc, grabbing him by the collar and slamming him onto a moving train, startling the passengers.
Chat Blanc kicked me off and leaped to his feet, scowling at me.
"You caused Ladybug and I to split up! You should never have come here!" He shouted.
"You brought that on yourself, Chat Blanc. You sided with Lila, not me!" I shouted back.
With a roar of furry, he threw a wave of punches and kicks while I dodged and parried as best as I could. I tried to throw a punch at him, but he ducked and elbowed me in the jaw, stunning me. As I stumbled back, Chat Blanc swung his staff at me, knocking me off the train. Ladybug managed to catch me and toss me into the air, allowing me to fire my web shooter at the train and zip towards it, landing with a roll. Ladybug landed next to me and twirled her yo-yo.
As we traded blows, the crowd cheered for us. Ladybug snapped a kick at Chat Blanc, knocking him back. I hurled an Inazuma punch at him, knocking him off his feet. Chat Blanc managed to flip back onto his feet and smirked.
"I think it's time we derail this train." He said as he pointed towards us. "CATACLYSM!"
Ladybug and I ducked as a white sphere flew over us and struck the bridge, leaving a large hole. As Chat Blanc dived off the train, Ladybug and I went inside the train to reassure the passengers. I went to the drive and told him to use the brakes, only for the leaver to snap off due to our effort.
"Stand clear! I'm going to try and stop the train!" I called as I crawled out of the train and stood on the platform. I attempted to use both my feet to slow down the train, but I had to pull out because my legs felt like they were about to break.
"Shit!" I cursed as I clutched my legs.
"You got a plan B, kid!?" The driver asked.
I looked at my web shooters and then at the buildings we zoomed past. An idea formed in my head.
"Just one! Tell everyone to hold on tight!" I called.
"Everyone, hold onto something!" The driver called towards the passengers and Ladybug as I fired both web shooters at two buildings, pulling with all my might to stop the train. The webs snapped under pressure, causing me to lose my balance and almost fall off the train.
C'mon, Shayne. Pete's done this before and catching that car was light work. You can do this. I thought as I started firing more of my webbing at the buildings with rapid succession, pulling onto the webs as hard as I can.
Please work. Please let this work. I prayed as I pulled on my webbing as hard as I could, ignoring the pain in my arms and the sound of my suit tearing.
The train started to decelerate as I pulled my webbing as hard as I could. Buildings strained against my efforts as I desperately tried to stop the train. Eventually, the train slowed down and stopped near the edge. I released my webs, panting for breath, while Ladybug escorted all the passengers out of the train.
"How did you do that?" A child asked.
"Push ups, sit ups and plenty of fruit and veg." I replied as I helped him get down, ignoring the pain in my arms and shoulders.
Suddenly, Chat Blanc blitzed towards me and slammed me against the wall, cracking my ribs. His lips twisted into a malicious grin.
"Gotta admit, I didn't think you had it in you. Using your own body to stop that train. Too bad it took all of your effort." He said.
"Adrien, you don't have to do this." I coughed.
"Oh, I do. I will make sure you won't ever interfere with my relationship with Milady again." He said as his staff turned into a scythe.
He slashed at me, but I quickly dived to the side, dodging the blade. He kept slashing at me until the blade slashed my side, stunning me. Before I could react, Chat Blanc stabbed me in the stomach with the scythe.
"NO!" Ladybug screamed out as he tossed me towards the River Seine, forcing me to crash into the railing and onto the ground. I tried to get up, but the pain prevented me from moving. As I used my webs to close the wound, Ladybug managed to help me up and used her yo-yo to escape from Chat Blanc.
Suddenly, Chat Blanc managed to tackle up Ladybug, forcing her to drop me. I tried to fire my web shooters, but I was too weak to move and fell towards the ground.

Using the last of my strength, I fired my web shooters, forming a net below me. As I crashed into the net, my weight and the impact of the fall caused it to snap and I landed face first onto the ground. I tried to get up, but I was too weak to get up from the ground. My vision started to fade as I saw a silhouette of a man running towards me.
After that, my vision turned dark.
Marinette POV
As I landed onto the ground, I tried to look for Spider-X, but was blocked by Chat Blanc, who kicked me to the ground and smirked.
"I know Hawkmoth wants your miraculous, but first. I'll have my way with you and make sure that Shayne never lays his eyes on you again.
"Don't come near me! You murderer!" I sobbed.
Chat Blanc grabbed me by the neck and reached for my earrings.I tried to escape his grasp, but he held on to me tightly. Eventually, he took my earrings and revealed my civilian form.
"Marinette? You're Ladybug!?" He gasped.
His shock turned into glee.
"Then that means I've already won. I beat Spider-X and claimed you as mine." He added.
"No. I will never be yours." I spat.
"Oh, that will be arranged." He said as he chopped my nape, knocking me out.
