When Raya woke up the next morning she felt strong arms wrapped around her.
She then remembered the events that occurred that night.
She sat up slowly and gently woke up Neteyam.
"We need to go, I'm sure your father is waiting." She said as she stood up.
——
When they walked into the pod, Jake and Neytiri were pacing back and forth."Raya! Neteyam!" Tuk and Zara both yelled as they ran to hug them both.
"Where the hell were you two, huh?" Jake yelled as he stormed over to them. "We were worried sick."
"I'm sorry sir." Neteyam said as he hung his head down. Raya shook her head.
"No." She said as she looked at Jake.
"Excuse me?" He said stepping closer.
"You heard me. You don't get to yell at us for staying out. We were fine." She yelled at him."Lo'ak and Kiri were out as well but their not getting in trouble." She said as she looked at Lo'ak and Kiri who had only gotten there minutes before them.
"Ma'Jake, she's right." Neytiri said as she stepped forward.
Jake sighed as he looked between the two.
Suddenly Tonowari walked into their pod.
"Tonowari?" Jake asked as he looked at him.
"Jake, there are two forest people here, a man and a woman." He said as he scanned the pod before locking eyes with Raya. She shook her head. "No." She said before walking out of the pod to see everyone gathered around two ikrans.
She recognized one of them.
It was her fathers.
She ran over to where everyone was and saw her father and Ionia standing in the middle of everyone.
"Daughter!" Ka'i yelled when he saw her. He ran to give her a hug but she pushed him away.
"How could you?" She yelled. "You had no right to come here!"
The Sully's all ran over to her and stood behind her, Neteyam put his hand on her lower back.
"Daughter we have come to take you and Zara home." Ionia said as she stepped forward.
"No, this isn't fair." She yelled again at her parents. Everyone in the crowd began to whisper to each other.
"Raya please." Her father begged.
"No. You keep hurting me and blame it on me." She paused stepping closer to Ionia.
"How is it my problem when you hurt me?"She turned back around and walked away "Why is that my fault!" She had tears in her eyes now.
"Raya it's not your fault!" Her father yelled to her as she walked back to their pod. Tonowari stopped them and told them they needed to leave.
So without another word they hoped on their Ikran and left, but she knew they'd be back sooner or later.
As she walked into the pod Neteyam was the only one who followed her in.
He could hear her crying so he turned her to face him and pulled her into a tight hug. She dug her face into his chest and sobbed.
He rested his chin on her head and stroked her hair just letting her cry.
Jake walked into the pod quietly and saw what was happening. He didn't say anything, but he knew something was up.
