"How is she?" Shinri questioned Magni, who sighed. Two days had passed since the Vanguard returned back with an injured female.

"She's alive, don't worry. But there aren't any signs of her waking up soon."

"Oh, alright."

"Shinri." Magni spoke, breaking the uncomfortable silence. "Be honest. What are you planning to do with the girl?"

The two males looked at eachother in silence. ".. I- I don't know yet." "When she wakes up, she'll be weak. There's even a chance she might've suffered memory loss during her unconsciousness. You do know what that means, right?"

"It'll mean that she won't even remember where she came from. That meaning you won't have anywhere to take her when she heals. Doing this is a big responsibility, there's a chance she might have to stay here for good."

"I know. I knew that this would have consequences, but we're here to save people, Magni. When we see an injured person we don't hesitate to give them first aid or help them. I know she probably went through hell judging by what she currently looks like, so I'm glad we could help her out and get her to safety." Shinri spoke wisely, taking Magni by surprise.

The alchemist smiled at the taller male before speaking again. "You're a kind man, Josuiji Shinri."

Your eyes fluttered open, only to close them immediately due to the light shining at you. "Fuck.." you mutter, holding your aching forehead. Your muttering caught the attention of the alchemist, who came over to you.

"Oh, good, you're awake." Magni says, helping you sit up before turning off the huge lamp shining above you. "Take this, it'll make the pain stop." Saying that, the strange man hands you a small glass with a purple tinted liquid.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" You ask, holding the shot glass. "Magni Dezmond, Alchemist. Lovely to meet you." He quickly shakes your hand and walks off again to a tall shelf filled with potions and colourful things. You raised the glass to your nose and took a quick sniff, it didn't smell bad, but it didn't smell good either.

"I suggest you take a quick snooze after drinking that, the after effects are a bit concerning." Magni says, noticing your movements. You didn't speak, even though your was filled with questions.

"I'm not gonna bite you, jeez. Feel free to ask questions, you're probably confused as fuck right now." The alchemist chuckles, his back to you.

"Where am I?"

"The guild Tempus headquarters, we're a group of dudes who fight to save people."

"okay... How did I get here again..?"

"Four of our men found you all injured and beat up in a village not far from here. Do you remember what happened?" Magni asks, coming back up to you with a piece of cotton and a bottle of brown water. "No.. not really, I just know that I passed out shortly after whatever happened. I'm sorry, my memorys not great." You explain, pulling up your sleeve to let Magni spread something on your burn marks.

"It's fine, the beds other there by the way." He points to a dark corner with a small bed placed up against the wall. "When you wake up, if I'm not here, go look for Josuiji Shinri, got it?"

You nod, taking a big sip of the liquid. The whole world was warpy and ripply as you made your way to the bed.

About twenty minutes later, or so it felt like, you sit up in your bed, yawning. Where were you again? Right, Magnis lab.

"Magni?" You call out, hearing your voice bounce off the stone walls. You heard nobody speak back to you supposed he was gone. You sighed, knowing what he had instructed you to do. You were supposed to look for this man named Shinri.

You walk over to the door, hugging yourself because of the low temperature. You pull it open, only to be met with an amazing sight. The place infront of you, whatever it was, looked like something out of a fairy tail. Large chandeliers hung from the ceiling, large stairs led upstairs to some rooms. In the middle stood a long wooden table with four seats on each side.

Fuck that Shinri guy, you were going to explore, and hopefully find him during your exploration.

You excitedly hurried to the huge staircase and quietly crept upstairs. You saw many rooms in the long corridor, deciding which one to check out first.

You skipped over to one of the wooden doors, creaking it open. But you failed to notice the "DO NOR DISTURB. IN THE PROCESS OF AN EXORCISM ." sign.
