"Mother Nature's Sacrifice"

As Lillian sat by Elijahs bedside, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease wash over her. He layed still and motionless on the bed, his chest barely rising and falling with each shallow breath. She knew that he was still alive, but the sight of him in such a vulnerable state was almost too much for her to bear.

It had been to days since Niklaus had daggered Elijah, and Lillian had been by his side ever since. She refused to leave him, even for a moment, and had spent countless hours sitting beside him, watching and waiting for any sign of life. She knew that it was only a matter of time before Elijah woke up, but the waiting was starting to take its toll on her.

As she sat there, lost in thought, she suddenly felt a faint movement from Elijah's body. She held her breath, her heart racing as she watched him slowly open his eyes.

"Elijah," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. "You're awake."

Elijah groaned softly as he tried to sit up, his muscles weak and unresponsive. "What happened?" he asked, his voice hoarse and scratchy.

Lillian took his hand in hers, gently squeezing it. "Niklaus daggered you," she said, her voice full of anger and resentment.

Elijah closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as he tried to process everything that had happened. "I remember now," he said, his voice filled with determination. "I won't let him get away with this."

Lillian smiled, a sense of relief washing over her. She knew that Elijah was a fighter, and that he would never let Niklaus get the best of him.

"I'm here for you, Elijah," she said, her voice filled with love and devotion. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

Elijah smiled weakly, his eyes closing once again as he drifted off into a peaceful sleep. Lillian sat by his side, holding his hand and watching over him as he rested.

She thought about the words of Niklaus, she was sure that he meant what he said. Elijah had told her about his siblings being daggered, he hated it, he wanted them undaggered so that they could live and meet his new love.

And Lillian could feel the pain and the anguish that emanated from them. She knew that the bond between the Originals was strong, forged over centuries of love and loyalty. To have that bond broken so brutally was a violation of the natural order, a desecration of the very essence of family.

But she didn't know if she could win this fight against Niklaus, she couldnt protect Elijah forever or hide him. She didn't want him to rot like his siblings in a coffin, she needed to decide what to do, what was best for her soulmate, Elijah. The person who showed her how it feels to be loved.

As Lillian stood at the balcony, surveying the lush landscape she had created. Her hair, a tumble of vines and leaves, rustled in the gentle breeze. She had always been a force of life and beauty, weaving together the flora and fauna of the earth into a harmonious whole. But lately, she had felt a growing sense of unease, a dissonance in the very fabric of nature.

It wasn't until she turned to face her love, Elijah, that she realized the source of her discomfort. He was in their bed, sleeping.

With a heavy heart, she turned away from Elijah and began to walk away from their room. She knew that she could not stay with Elijah any longer, that she had to leave him for his safety.

She didn't look back as she left. She knew that he would follow her, that he would try to save them and run away from his brother, but she also knew that she could not be swayed, that she had to do what was right for him and the world she had created.

And so she walked on, her heart heavy but her resolve unshakable, leaving her soulmate behind for the sake of his freedom.

--------------------

Niklaus stood before mother nature, her eyes fixated on the sleeping Elijah. Niklaus had told her that she needed to free his brother from the burden of his memories with her, if she left.

Niklaus felt proud that he had won again, even against mother nature. He was snapped out of his thoughts by Lillian's voice: „I can erase his memories of me but be warned, the process will not be easy."

Niklaus nodded, his eyes flashing with determination. „I understand the risks. Just do it already."

Niklaus stood before Lillian, his eyes narrowed in suspicion as she began to chant in a language he did not recognize.

As she continued to chant, Elijah woke up and felt a strange sensation wash over him, like a fog settling in his mind. Memories began to slip away, as if they had never been there at all. His heart raced as he struggled to hold onto them, to hold onto anything that would anchor him in reality.

But Lillian was too powerful. She continued to chant, her voice rising in volume until it echoed through the room. Elijah's grip on his memories slipped further and further away, until they were gone completely.

His body bolded up in a sitting position, his head spinning as he struggled to make sense of what had just happened. His mind and body could not take the immense power and he fainted short after.

"What have you done?" Niklaus demanded, his voice hoarse.

"I have given you what you asked for," Lillian replied with a hint sadness in her voice. "You wanted him to forget the time with me. And so I have made it so."

„Good, if you have done anything else to him, I will find you and kill you." said Niklaus with a threatened voice.

Lillian just smiled, did he really think that she could hurt Elijah, her only true love, what a stupid boy.
She answered him: „Please let me say goodbye to him, he was the only person i could ever love."

Niklaus didn't say anything in return, he just turned around and left the room.

Leaving Lillian alone with the unconscious Elijah.
