"Is everything okay, Hyunjin? You spaced out." I laughed, grabbing my sunglasses and using them to tuck my front bangs back.
"Yeah. Let's go, I think the sun is setting soon." he smiled, pointing back at the window and getting up from the couch.
I nodded in response, and we exited the villa together.

Everyone was waiting for us at the wooden steps, but there were two specific people that caught my eye.
Somi and Yunjin were wearing the same exact bathing suit.
"You know you guys are wearing the same thing, right?" I laughed, repeating my thought out loud.
"Yeah, what a coincidence." Somi released what sounded like a fake laugh, and Yunjin smiled the smallest smile I had seen on her face so far on this trip while she crossed her arms to cover her bare stomach.
"Wanna race?" Felix lined up with Hyunjin in a starting pose along the staircase of the pier.
"Hell, yeah bro." Hyunjin smirked cheekily, the wind already ruining his bangs.
"Let's all race! I bet Minji will win. She's athletic." Somi walked up to them, squeezing herself in between them and readying up her legs too.
"Nope, I'm winning for sure!" Hanni raised an objective hand and pushed Minji to the side before she could get into her running pose.
Everyone agreed to the idea, and we all lined up behind each other.
"Ready," Somi counted down.
"Set...GO!"
As quick as lightning, we all sped towards the horizon and I felt the sand get stuck in between my bare toes.
The air was filled with laughter and ecstasy. It felt good to be in a group of young, free adults who are enjoying their youth.
We ran across the sandy beach until reaching the shore, some of us jumping in the cold water and some catching our breaths.
"Who even won?" Chan laughed, panting from the sprint.
"Me, obviously." Hanni flipped her hair in Chan's face, causing the group to fall into a laughing fit.
I was so distracted watching the sun dip below the sea line, that I didn't notice a pair of hands shove me into the water.
"WHAT THE FU—" I tried to cuss, but was interrupted by the salty water grazing my tongue.
"Who was that?!" I coughed, gasping for air after all the salt entering my throat.
