I will not lie to you, I had been wanting to feel Hyunjin's lips on mine again. I kind of...missed them since the first time.
But I had strictly forbidden myself to ever have something like that with him again, and now I've fucked up. I let my desire and greed get the best of me. Sure, it's all fun and games for now but once I fall asleep and the alcohol is knocked out of my system, I will wake up with a splitting migraine, regret, and the pressure of having to come up with an excuse or explanation for why I did that.
Will Hyunjin regret it too? Will he not remember it? Will he pretend as if nothing happened?
Or will he try to take it to the next level?
Whichever of those as the possible outcomes doesn't sound like something I would want to deal with.
Aren't we in Jeju to let our thoughts loose? I don't think this is what Somi meant by that.
"You okay?" Hyunjin asked quietly, not breaking eye contact with me.
"Um...yeah." I laughed breathily, already feeling the repent flood my thoughts, or maybe that was just the alcohol overtaking me.
I swallowed hard before pushing him off of me and hopping down from the counter.
The last I saw of him before exiting the bathroom was his perplexed expression, but that was the least of my worries at the moment.
Once I breathed in the cold air of the villa again, music flooded into my ears.
"Oh my god, turn that down." I mumbled, plugging my ears and walking back to the jacuzzi to hop in again. The room's temperature was too cold for me.
"Are you okay?" Han was the first to check on me, but Yunjin eyed me worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I plastered on a bleak smile, while picking on the skin of my thumb under the hot water where it wasn't visible.
"Where's Hyunjin?" Han continued to shoot at me with another question. I was hoping he could let go of this subject, but it didn't look like he was going to anytime soon.
"Um, I think he wanted to use the restroom but I was just in the way." I responded, my head tilted down.
I'm not feeling the same as how I did when I walked in here.
Please stop talking about this.
"You guys took an awful long ti-" he pried, but Yunjin was the first to stop him from going any further with an objective hand.
"Han, stop." she said sternly, a look of concern painted on her face as she looked at me from the corner of her eye.
I mouthed a thank you.
Han pouted, but nodded obediently and stayed silent.
"You guys having fun?" Somi walked over to us and sat on the lip of the jacuzzi, speaking loudly over the earsplitting music.
