she had made it to his house in under five minutes, them living not that far from each other, standing in front of the door to knock.
When she did, his mother opened the door smiling happy to see her at this time of day.

"oh me, fantastic, how about you?" she shrugged , stepping out the way so you could walk in and close the door.
"it's been better, darrien is upstairs if that's who your really here for." she laughed and apologized, not trying to make it seem like she didn't care.
