I love this scene and one of my favorite movie scenes in film history. The Fifth Element was a big inspiration to the Darko-Man universe because of the worldbuilding, plot, and romance. Hollywood doesn't make films like these anymore and it's a shame all creativity is gone. Now, we're only relying on comics and novels to tell the stories on screen. Except, Hollywood loves to rehash Disney animated movies in their live-action remakes. And, the list goes on.
But I love this ending too.
