Spicy warning?

"Topper came by." My dad stated as I walked into the house.

"Hello, dad, my day was great, thanks for asking!" I spoke sarcastically with a laugh. "What'd he want?"

"Something about a party on the beach tonight." I hit myself, I forgot all about that.

"Oh my god, I forgot about that." Dad turned to me, pausing from messing with his cufflinks.

"You knew about it?" I nodded, silently asking why. He shook his head. "Topper invited you to it, didn't think you'd be going." I pursed my lips and shook my head.

"Yeah, a few of my friends told me about it last week, guess it slipped my mind." He shook his head with a sigh.

"Your mom and I are going out for dinner, and then out tonight, house is yours, that's the only reason we're letting you go out tonight, so you don't ruin the house, got it?" I nodded.

"Yes sir, I'm gonna go get ready." He nodded as I wandered upstairs to my room.

Then was setting and I knew now was my time to go. Living on Figure Eight had it's perks, like I had a nice car to get to and from places instead of a shit bike or van. I hummed to myself as I drove to the beach. Once I had parked up, I saw everyone on the beach, drinking and having fun, although separated by economic class. I offered people a smile as I walked by them. I hummed, laughed as I took a red solo cup from a blonde teenagers hand.

"Think it's unfair that you get two~" I smiled, sipping the one I had taken as I wondered over to my friends. "Ladies."

"Where'd you get the drink?" I pointed over to the blonde in the grey tank top. His hair was messy, very cute. "He's a Pogue, (N/n)." I nodded with a laugh. "I think if we get you to drink a little more, we can get a thing going between you two for tonight." I stared at my brunette friend, and then looked back to this guy while he talked with his friends. I nodded with a smile.

A few more drinks in, and they were right.

"Excuse me!" I called out as I walked over to the group of Pogues. "Hi," I found the blonde closer to my group than his, and he had two red cups once again. "Can I ask you something?" He glanced over to his friends before speaking, handing me one of his cups.

"Knock yourself out."

"How are you this cute?" He raised his eyebrows as I took a sip from the cup he had handed me.

"Uh, I think you're confused, I'm from-"

"The Cut, I know, you're a Pogue, I get it." He stared at me, surprised that I actually knew.

"And you still came up to me?" I nodded, pursing my lips.

"Yeah...I know, seen as Kook suicide, but I just really wanted to talk to you..." No one had really noticed we were talking yet, so he gently set a hand on my waist and guided me over to a quieter area of the beach, more towards the tree-line that was nearby.

"Speaking for all Kooks, right now, this'll kill your social standing..." I nodded, staring up at him since he was quite a little bit taller than me. I stood with my back against a tree. "So, you'll be okay with some misjudgment...?" I nodded again as he rest his forearm on the tree's trunk just above my head, his drink in his hand, while his free hand hesitantly brushed loose strands of hair from my face. "You're sure?" I had enough of his questions and leaned up to his height, pressing my lips against his. He was surprised, we both were, but as we relaxed into the kiss, I dropped the drink beside me and looped my arms over his shoulders, as his free hand moved to settle on my waist, trailing to my hip, and back up under my shirt, his fingers lightly brushing my ribs before his hand slipped out from under my shirt to gently hold my jaw, his thumb brushing over my cheek.
