California sunrise
The orange county sunset
Life is bright and cheery
Like the dopamine high
Of yesterday
Hiding in the basement
Unafraid of what might happen
Tomorrow
I'm low
Then I'm high
I'm addicted to the
Dompaine
It's a cycle
They up the dose
And the potency
California sunrise
I'm so high
But sometimes I feel so low
Lower than low
If the hammers are breaking
The barriers and the surface
Then, what's left of me?
My God, I pray to him
He uses a hammer to break
My skin amd wear me thin
