It had been over an hour since JJ left to spread the word out. I had texted some of my Kook friends about the party and most of them agreed to come.

I felt the regret already. This was probably not going to end well and my parents would definitely kill me if they found out I hosted a big party in the house full with valuable things.

I had hosted a party at my place before but that was only for Kooks.

This party was being hosted by me and JJ Maybank and again I had no idea what JJ was saying to people at this exact moment.

Then again I did trust him. I usually don't, but he sounded so open and vulnerable just now. Different than he ever acted before. It was like a change in tone, like he let his guard down.

JJ had always been like this, I never really knew why. He always put up this funny guy image and barely let you in. When he does let you in you better enjoy the moment cause it's never for long.

My phone continuously buzzed, getting texts from people confirming they're coming but then I also saw Rafe's name appear on my phone.

I smiled at my phone and immediately opened the chat to answer. I felt guilty for making him leave just like that. Poor guy was probably extremely confused.

Rafe and I started dating before he got addicted to drugs. Like, the bad type of drugs. A lot changed in our relationship ever since. His softness turned into more aggression.

He kept telling me he'd change for me. But I haven't noticed much of a change. I didn't want to accuse him of not trying though, our fights never really ended well.

I loved him though. I really did love him, even when hurting me.

I was snapped back to reality when I heard the front door slam shut, meaning that JJ was back.

I heard familiar voices so I ran downstairs to see that JJ brought Kie, Pope and John B.

They all observed the inside of the house. Mainly the furniture and the collections my parents kept in glass cases.

"Sometimes I forget you're a Kook that could literally buy us if you wanted to." Pope commented as we all walked over to the living room to sit down on the large, comfy sofa.

"What did you expect from miss Kook princess." John B replied.

JJ put his feet on the table, getting comfortable.

I got disgusted and shoved his feet off. "Hygiene dude.."

"What?! I'm like super clean." He answered.

Everyone looked at JJ and started laughing as he said that. He was probably everything but clean and we all knew it.

"Wowowow ganging up on me?" He asked. "How dare you guys."
