The last few days have been extremely weird. JJ didn't lie when he said he was going to live up to the nickname I had given him.

I stayed home for the last couple of days to process my break up with Rafe and at the same time having to deal with the biggest tease himself, JJ.

He would take every opportunity to possibly tease me. Like mowing the lawn without wearing a shirt, using the gym in our house to come out sweaty. Showering and not drying his hair and walked around shirtless afterwards. And it went on like that every day.

He really did take what I said serious. He saw it as some sort of challenge. Honestly I didn't mind it at all, it made my days interesting and besides, JJ isn't bad looking at all.

I had asked JJ to drop me off at Rafe's house and stay there waiting just to be safe. I needed to talk to Rafe, mainly cause of the information I had now and it wasn't the full truth.

My entire life had turned upside down just cause of a rumour that wasn't even completely true. Me kissing JJ was bad, really bad, but not as bad as sleeping with him.

Besides, it was an one time thing and it wasn't going to happen again. I think.

JJ immediately protested when I told him my idea of going by Rafe's. But well, he would rather be near in case something happens instead of me going there alone.

We were in my car on the way there when he brought up everything that had happened for the first time in days.

I had been trying to move on from everything that had happened and it was going pretty well. It seems like JJ didn't experience it the same way.

"Hey Sia?" JJ turned to face me.

My eyes were focused on the road but I still answered, seeing him looking at me in the corner of my eye. "Hm?"

"You know when you fought with Kie? When we were all at the Château?" He began.

I sighed not liking the way this conversation was going. I still hadn't made up with Kiara, I was planning on doing so though. Me assuming it was her was wrong, but then again she had also said things that were definitely not okay.

I needed to make things right with Rafe first. I wanted the story to be right and for him to listen to my side of the story and to talk about Harlan as well if Harlan hadn't gone to him first.

"Yeah of course I know. What about it?" I replied.

"Things got pretty bad, you know? Like with Kie being mad and all." He continued.

I tapped the steering wheel with my finger. "Yes, JJ. I know."

"So when you left Kie was still pretty pissed off." He paused. "I... uh.. well, I defended you and Kiara didn't really like that I did."

Him using her name instead of nickname made me realise it was serious. It made me nervous cause I didn't want my drama with her to affect JJ or the others in any way.

"She honestly said a lot but honestly Kiara speaks a lot but truly doesn't say anything at the same time." He rambled. "Anyway— back to the point. I didn't tell you this yet cause I wanted to give you time and space but well I'm guessing your ready to speak about everything now."

I let out a laugh when he made that comment about Kiara. It was true honestly, but she meant well and we all just act like we understand what she means all of the time.

I was grateful that JJ made sure to give me time. I needed these past few days to process everything and think everything through. He made my days funnier though with his constant teasing.
