Some flowers are alluring but deadly, some flowers may be not that pretty looking but have the most enchanting smell.
Just like us.
A pretty cover may hide the ugliest truth. Yet, our society makes us believe that just being gorgeous and fitting into a certain pattern makes us valuable or worth spending time on and with.
Why does beauty matter more than someone's intellect? Why can't I be called smart and not pretty? Compliment my brain, not my face. Why can't an incredible average looking person be called incredible but rather average? Why do we let others "label" us like this? Most people are so caught up in their narcissism that they miss what is important.Flowers teach us that even a not so good looking one to me is amazing to someone else. Maybe we, humans, need to pay more attention to them and learn that not all pretty flowers grow into fruits. Some are just there to make us stop and admire them.
On the other hand, as soon as we see a breathtaking flower, we kill it....it's one of the things that are different in our species because humans don't kill the prettiest people, they just bring them down and make them wish they were dead...which of course is even worse.
