In life things get harder never easier sad but that's what makes you stronger have you grow as a person. In life some things are meant to happen like how you may not know but in every lifetime you bump into the same person.
You may not know each other but your souls do which is what brings you guys together. Kevin honestly thanks the lord every night for bringing Doug into his life. Doug was his everything and he needed him.
They needed each other and they couldn't look back and think of a time they weren't in each others lives they loved each other unconditionally and when they dated they weren't sure if their relationships would last but they knew they were forever.
Later down the road they caught feelings and soon the feelings bloomed into a beautiful relationship that had now been going on for the past eight months and the two were extremely happy in fact the happiest they had ever been.
However Doug suffered a lot with his mental state over the years and had his fair share of insecurities and when he started dating Kevin it got worse he wanted to be perfect for Kevin like how Kevin was perfect for him.
Kevin honestly didn't understand why Doug thought of himself so negatively. When Kevin looked at Doug he saw no flaws all he saw so a beautiful person who lit up a room the moment they walked in. A person who's smile made everything better.
Doug's laugh was his favorite sound and he was absolutely in love with Doug's eyes that had that beautiful sparkle in them when he was happy. In Kevin's eyes Doug was nothing less than absolutely perfect.
Sure nobody was perfect and Doug had his insecurities and made his mistakes but kevin loved hie doug communicated with him about his insecurities and when he made a mistake always tried to fix it.
"You perfect baby boy I promise" kevin says before kissing Doug's cheek and wrapping his arms around him. Doug found his heart getting a warm feeling and he smiled just enjoying being in Kevin's arms this moment was perfect.
