Chapter 1: How It All Started

3rd pov

         Shota married his best friend's sister 6 years after high school. Shota first met Stella Yamada after he met Hizashi Yamada during their entrance exams to get into UA then again during their first year at UA High. Shota and Hizashi became the best of friends and always hung out together along with their other friend Oboro Shirakumo. All three of them always hung out, but when Oboro couldn't hang out; it was just Shota and Hizashi.

        One day, when Shota was hanging out with Hizashi he met Stella. Shota instantly fell head over heels for her, but he did not show it. Stella also had the secret that she has always liked Shota as well. But, she never told Hizashi because Shota was his friend.

        Stella and Shota first met when Shota went over to Yamada's house to study for an upcoming test. Stella was in a different first year class so they never met until then. Shota never knew she was at the house and just followed Hizashi up to his room so they could study for the test.

        Stella on the other hand saw Shota walking up to the house with Hizashi. She knew from the moment she saw him that he was going to be someone that would be able to help her with her quirk, her emotions, and not to mention he was the one that she was in love with.

        As the three of them continued on through UA High, it was their final third year. Hizashi and Shota ended up losing their best friend Oboro in an internship incident while saving a civilian life. Shota witnessed everything and was really depressed about losing Oboro a little bit more than Hizashi was. Stella noticed how upset Shota was about Oboro's death and thought about the different things she could do to try to make him feel better.

        Stella started with her plan to make Shota happy, but along with her brother. She really cared about both of them with all of her heart. For Shota, Stella is going to make him his favorite foods for the next time he comes over to the house. Plus some other things, like an equipment belt and goggles that match his hero outfit. Then, for Hizashi, she is going to get him a new pair of sunglasses and headphones along with making him his favorites, as well.

        Shota ends up going over to Yamada's house the following weekend. With Shota being at the Yamada house, Stella is able to make their favorite foods for both him and her brother, then give them their gifts. Stella was super excited for this weekend to try to make both of them feel somewhat better after their best friend died.

        Stella gets done with the surprise for the two guys and gets excited to show them. She goes to run to Hizashi room, where they always stay whenever Shota comes over. Stella knocks on the door as she smiles brightly, and Hizashi opens the door.

      "What' up Stella?" Hizashi said, sounding a little sad still as he looked at her. Hizashi usually lets Stella into the room, but doesn't this time.

       "I have a surprise for you and Shota. Will you both please come down to the dining table please?" She asks Hizashi with pleading eyes.

       Hizashi sighs and smiles sadly, then nods, "Okay... I'll tell Shota. We will be down there shortly."

      Stella smiles and nods as she turns around and runs back to the dining room. She makes sure that everything is still looking great for both Shota and Hizashi. She waits impatiently for them to come down to the dining room.

      When Shota and Hizashi finally walk down to the dining room to see what Stella has for the surprise, they see that the dining table is full of their favorite foods. They also see two presents sitting on the table. Shota and Hizashi look at each other confused then at Stella who is smiling from ear to ear. "What do y'all think? Do y'all like it?" Stella asks them excitedly.
