Keigo took Isabella to the hospital as fast as he could fly. He ran through the lobby when he got to the hospital straight to Lucy and Laina, the two nurses he trusts the most, they take care of Bella and take her straight to the treatment area. Lucy takes Keigo to wait in the ICU waiting room while they are assessing Bella and treating her wounds and running some tests on her.
While Keigo is waiting for Bella, he texts Blaise to try to find out if she will be coming to the hospital to see Bella, but she doesn't answer. In the treatment area, Lucy and Laina find out Bella has a major head injury and that causes the major bleeding along with blood loss. Bella did not have any internal injuries from the raping or from her quirk. Dr. Viotto stitched the wound on Bella's head closed.
Dr. Viotto tells Keigo everything, then lets him go sit with Bella in her room. As hours go by with no response from Blaise, the door to Bella's room opens and it turns out to be Aizawa, Mic, and Midnight. Aizawa was super pissed at not being told what happened to Bella and that she is in the hospital. He had Keigo get Blaise at the hospital ASAP.
Blaise shows up at the hospital and explains everything to the 3 heroes, but mainly to Aizawa. Then, Aizawa calms down and understands now what has happened. He comforts Blaise and they leave Blaise and Keigo in Bella's room by themselves. Blaise and Keigo start talking about their past, Blaise's love life, Keigo's past love life, and how Touya is Dabi. They seem to be getting closer and closer.
Keigo's Pov
It has been four days and Bella still hasn't woken up yet. Aizawa was already discharged from the hospital, from him basically demanding to go home. But, for Bella they ended up putting all kinds of tubes and a mask on her. I never left her side once, except to go shower and to use the bathroom. I left all the hero work at my agency to my sidekicks and other heroes there.
No one can tell us why Bella hasn't woken up or when she will. And I refuse to let her wake up alone. I have failed her and Blaise way too many times in my book and I won't fail them again. Blaise, Aizawa, and some others have been coming by to see Bella, but with no real changes I don't expect people to really come to see her too often. Come on Bella... Please wake up, we all miss you.
I put my head in my hands and I try so hard not to break down crying or anything. Not wanting to be a burden on anyone, so I don't contact anyone to ask them to sit with me or to vent. I groan to myself as I run my hands through my hair frustrated not knowing what else to do. Feeling like I should do something, I pull my phone out to look at it and I don't see anything new on it. Except for the media publishing articles about how I haven't been out and about lately. The latest headline says: PRO HERO HAWKS HAS NOT BEEN SEEN! ON VACATION? OR DID HE QUIT BEING A HERO?!
I roll my eyes at the headline, closing out of the internet and locking my phone. Sighing, I mumble, "Damn media people don't have anything better to do... Why do they have to write about me?" I rub my face feeling even more pressure on my back and shoulders. I don't know what to do. I know The Commission is going to see that and is going to wonder what I'm doing. Fuck! Getting irritated about the situation, I feel my feathers getting ruffled in irritation, as well.
Isabella's Pov
My body feels so light, almost as light as a feather. I have no idea where I am, it's almost like a dream. I am able to hear voices, but I can't open my eyes for some reason. Why can't I open them? I want to see who is talking even though their voices sound so familiar. I kinda feel pain, but I don't at the same time, it's so strange. I wonder when I will be able to open my eyes and see those people.
The talking has stopped for a few days, but talking will start up and stop from time to time during these times. I don't know exactly how much time has passed, but it is getting lonely in this darkness. My desire to go back is growing, but I can't go back for some reason.
