Chapter 21: Performance and Confidence

      Isabella snuck out of Keigo's apartment to go to UA for the Sports Festival to perform like she promised to Principal Nezu. While she was on her way there, she had this feeling that people were watching and looking at her. Besides the citizens that were looking at her because of her burn scars, which she did not care about. She instantly felt uncomfortable, but still made it to UA with no issues.

     When she got to UA she was greeted by Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods. They let her know that her band members have already gotten her badge for the Sports Festival and she should be good to go. Isabella went to go look for her band members when instead she found Class 1-A students walking down the hallway, then eventually she found Blaise.

     Blaise seemed like she was lost in her own world and it made Isabella worried. They talked for a little bit. Then, Isabella went to find Felix, Lucas, Axel, and Archer. While Blaise went to find Shoto. Isabella found the boys in the assigned room for the band talking and goofing around. So, they all caught up and made jokes with each other. Until Isabella could not get one of the 1-A students out of her mind, Joyce Inei.

     Isabella decided to go look for Joyce, she eventually found her sitting outside during the mini break that they had under a tree. She went to join Joyce under the tree to talk with her about her quirk. Then asking if she would be okay if she showed her how to control her quirk. She eventually agreed. The two girls hung out and talked for a little bit before heading back inside the stadium. While the two girls were talking Shinyo was watching them, but was more watching Isabella. After the two girls left, he saw Endeavor walking Keigo around the Sports Festival.

Isabella's Pov

      I walk down the hall with Joyce and look around then sigh. It really must have been my imagination. Oh well, it will be okay. I follow Joyce to her class, but I get lost seeing the stadium grounds and smile as I mumble, "I haven't been here since my first year..."

     Looking around and continuing to follow Joyce towards Class 1-A are gathering before they go back out on the field for the next game before the lunch break and the 1v1. I see Bakugo, Midoriya, Ida, and almost all of 1-A standing there together.

      Walking up to the group with Joyce, I smile and wave at them seeing as they all are amazed to see me today. So many questions start getting thrown at me all at once that I throw my hands up in defeat as I giggle, "Woah, woah... Guys, guys, slow down. I'm only coming by to say 'Hi' and to make sure Joyce came back to you guys. I kinda distracted her." I start scratching the back of my head as I smile.

     "What the fuck would a pro want with rainbow eyes?" Bakugo glared questionably at Joyce then to me.

     "Kacchan! That's not nice!" Midoriya rushed to try and stop the boy, but Joyce just shrugged her shoulders.

    "It's ok, Shadow was being nice and making small talk. Something wrong with that, Kitsune?" Joyce asked bluntly. Her dark purple eyes shined as she watched the shocked look upon Bakugo's face. That and the rest of the students themselves were shocked as well.

    "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING A FUCKING FOX?!" Bakugo exploded after a few seconds. It didn't seem to affect the girl.

    "You remind me of a mean fox back home...and Kitsune is fox in Japanese. You call me Rainbow Eyes, so I thought I could call you Kitsune." Joyce only shrugged her shoulders as she glanced at me.

     I smiled at Joyce then looked at Bakugo, "I don't see a problem with it. You give everyone a nickname that they either don't like, ignore, or eventually accept, or even by chance like so... too bad Pomeranian. She wants to call you Kitsune because you remind her of a fox." I smile more and cross my arms. "Plus don't make me take these off to erase your quirk." Shows the canceling cuffs, "I would rather not go back to the hospital today."
