Chapter 26: Movies After Family Drama

     Isabella and Keigo went to the Aizawa house for a family dinner when Keigo said yes to when Aizawa offered. Isabela was not too happy about going, given the fact that she and Shota have been fighting since the Sports Festival. It was also the beginning of spring time so Keigo and Blaise are going through their mating season until summer time. Keigo constantly wanted to touch Isabella that morning and tried to hold back the urges.

     By the time the evening comes, Isabella and Keigo are at Aizawa's house with Blaise and Aizawa. Isabella was super nervous so Blaise took her upstairs to talk and try to calm her down. The two girls talked for a great amount of time. The girls talked about how they were since the Shinyo incident, what they were feeling about the dinner, and what else was going on with them. Blaise confessed that she was moving in with Dabi and Isabella was terrified that she would never see Blaise again. Isabella told Blaise how she was scared about how Keigo was acting that morning, then Blaise explained that it was their mating season. That was when Isabella came forward and told her that she wasn't on anything and it was hard to go see a doctor due to her quirk reacting to her emotions.

      When dinner started, so much family drama started. Aizawa started talking about Isabella's mom... AGAIN. Keigo intervenes when Bella's quirk starts to seep out of her. Then Present Mic shows up late to the dinner along with Shota's younger brother, Shoda Aizawa. Isabella introduced Shoda to Blaise and Keigo, but when she did it the other way around Shoda mellowed out his tone and used their hero names that were never said. Making everything tense, Keigo defends both himself and his sister, along with Isabella defending them. At the end of the dinner, Isabella and Keigo go back to his apartment to watch movies and relax from the crazy and invite Blaise, but she declines the offer.

Isabella's Pov

    "What is all of this?" I ask him, smiling from ear to ear sounding super surprised.

    He smiles at me as he takes the tray of snacks and sets them down on the coffee table then pulls me into him, "What do you mean SongBird? You wanted a movie night with your boyfriend right? So I got out your favorite candles, some blankets, some pillows just in case because I'm your pillow..." He smirks at me, "I also got out a pair of your comfy pjs I got for you while you were recovering from the hospital so I think I got everything for you SongBird."

      I am so stunned by everything he got for me and everything he remembered that I like, "You did so great baby! I love it!" I smile brightly as I wrap my arms around his neck and I kiss him full of love. I feel him kiss me back with compassion and so much love for me that I could get lost in him. We pull away and I smile.

     He smiles at me, "Go get changed SongBird then I'll start the movie."

     I nod as I bit my lower lip then grabbed my pjs that he picked out for me and went to go change in the bedroom.

     Once I get done changing, I look at myself in the full body mirror. I see myself wearing a pair of baggy shorts that go mid-thigh, a blousy comfy t-shirt that is made for sleeping, and a comfy sports bra. I mean it's not the sexiest thing in the world... I never needed to be sexy before in pjs. Should I get 'sexy pjs'? Would he or does he like that sort of thing? I sigh, not knowing my own boyfriend's tastes.

     Then I hear Keigo's voice from the living room, "SongBird you okay in there? You didn't hurt yourself did you?"

      I can hear him laughing at himself at that last part and so did I, "No , No, I'm not hurt silly. I'm coming out now." Looking at myself one last time in the mirror. Then for some reason I felt eyes on me and I looked around, but not seeing anyone or anything.
