Chapter 11: Aftermath, I'm Blind Now... and He's Over Protective

     Class 1-A, Aizawa, Blaise and Isabella got on the bus and were on the way to the USJ training building. Isabella was given the student's files to read up on while on the bus ride. She read through all of the files, but was mostly interested in the student Joyce with what her quirk does. They finally arrived at the USJ training facility and Isabella was the first one to get off the bus to greet the ProHero Thirteen.

    Everyone goes into the USJ and Thirteen explains how the training building works to the students. That is when everything goes downhill and turns to shit. Villains ended up showing up at the USJ walking through a smokey vortex along with a villain standing in front of them with a hand on their face.

     This breaks out into a huge fight for Aizawa and Blaise against villains. Aizawa made Thirteen and basically Isabella as well stay with the students to protect them. Isabella has gotten really pissed off at her dad, but still did her job to protect the students.

    All the students ended up being split up and some ended up staying at the entrance. Isabella is able to distract the Smokey villain that actually created the vortex that let all the villains into the USJ. While Isabella distracted the villain named Kurogiri, the speedy student was able to run past them to go get help from the main campus. After fighting against Kurogiri some more, he ended up throwing Isabella down towards where Blaise and Aizawa were.

The fighting continued as the Crusty Manchild introduced what's called a Nomu into the fight. Moments later, Isabella and Blaise witnessed Aizawa getting really badly injured in front of their eyes. Isabella almost had a complete emotional breakdown and let go of her control of her emotions letting the smoke from SmokeScreen burn her skin and disintegrate everything around her. Instead, she lost almost half control.

Isabella and Blaise were willing to continue to fight even though they were close to their max with their quirks. Then, All Might shows up saving everyone in the USJ. Isabella and Blaise ended up passing out in ProHeroes arms.

Isabella's Pov

      After passing out in Snipe's arms, the Heroes take me, Blaise and my dad to the hospital to make sure we are all okay. Except, my dad ended up being bandaged from head to toe and not being able to do hero work for one to two months. My body is back wrapped up in bandages like I had it before, due to my quirk. I was also temporarily blind from my SmokeScreen quirk and Eraser quirk being used way too much than usual. Principle Nezu closed down the school for a couple of days after the USJ attack. Which I understand, I think we all could use a few days off from everything.

    Waking up in the morning, I can feel the burning sensation in my eyes and my body. Damn... I really overdid it the other day during that attack. I stay laying in the bed and not moving, scared that I might fall and hurt myself even more. Sighing, I eventually sit up wincing at the same time. Knowing that my dad is bed-ridden at the moment and can't do anything to help. I can't rely on others, all the time. Plus I'm sure Blaise is busy at the moment too. I can't bother her.

    Reaching for one of the sheathed swords, I use it to guide myself to my door then to the stairs. Slowly, I walk down the stairs making sure I don't miss a step as I mumble, "I got this... I got this." Continues to take my time down the stairs, then I finally get to the bottom of the stairs.

    When I get to the bottom of the stairs, I use my sword to try to find my way around the living room and kitchen areas. Eventually making it to the kitchen, I decided not to use anything with sharp edges and make a sandwich. Hearing a door close somewhere, not sure where it was so I don't try to look around.

    Wondering for a moment of who it could have been with the door I finally ask, "Who is there?" Asking while I feel around the counter for the deli meat to finish my sandwich.
