She heard he was gay, yet she still continued to fall in love with him.

There was this guy Lisa admired very much. But only from far away. She watched him transfer into their school and ever since then she couldn't take her eyes off of him.

The way he moved, talked, laughed, played basketball, played the guitar, everything about him was very interesting to Lisa.
Until one point.

She was casually walking through the corridor like she always did. Always having that big smile on her face. Just this one time she couldn't keep it on.

"You heard it too? That Jk guy is actually gay!" the blonde girl told her friend who was shook and had her mouth covered.

"You're kidding right? I always thought I had a chance with him. But does he have a boyfriend?" Lisa suddenly didn't want to listen anymore.

"You know that Jimin guy? I heard they're dating"

Hearing this made lisa completely shocked and frozen. She didn't expect this. Never.

When she again started walking to her friends, there she found the rumoured-to-be couple walking towards her. Oh god, how is she going to move on like this?

Their shoulders almost touched, but it wasn't as if it never had happened. What surprised Lisa more was his beautiful, cute, soft, shy smile that he gave her.

This is the reason Lisa fell in love with him. His smile. The smile that brightens the whole room up, even if it's dark.

That smile of his hadn't left his face no matter when and how he and Lisa met. It's always the smile that gave her wrong hints.

Unlike every time Lisa smiled back, this time she didn't. The boy's smile suddenly dropped and looked at Lisa with his worried eyes. Another false alarm.

Jungkook looked at his back where Lisa was going outside to the backyard of the college.

Out of worry to why she looked mad, he followed her outside.

There she was. Sitting on one end of a bench between two big trees, looking mad, sad, or on the verge of crying. He couldn't tell what her exact emotions were.

He took a few steps towards her. Sitting on the other end of the bench.
"What's wrong?"

Both aren't very close, but they have already had a few small talks regarding their studies and the college.

"Nothing." She coldly answered.

"It doesn't look like it's nothing, but I'll wait until you tell me yourself."

A few minutes passed by. Only their breathing sounds could be heard with the singing from the birds. I was such a nice warm day, yet she felt like ice next to him.

"Since when are you two in a relationship?"

The question caught Jungkook off guard.
"Who?"

"The bench of course! Who else is sitting here you dumbo."

"Me? It's been two months now."
He answered so quickly that's it came out natural. As if he answers the same question at least two times a day.

Lisa's heart broke from the answer. Wow, she couldn't even notice it.

"Who told you?"

"I just heard it from the girls on the hallways." Lisa answered casually. That's what happened after all.

"And you just believed them like that? Have you forgotten the way they started creating rumours about you and the teacher? How do you believe them, Lisa?"

He sounded so worried that Lisa started feeling things inside of her stomach. He's right though. How could she forget those annoying students who create rumours about every good student.
Lisa looked down out of guilt. But you can't blame her, she's in love.

"Lisa, look at me" he put a finger under her chin to make her look at him. "I'm not in a relationship nor am I gay. I hear that a lot just cause I'm hanging out with my cousin. Don't believe them." His voice was so soft. His touch was soft. Everything about him made her fall in love once again.

She nodded her head, looking down once again.
"So now tell me, were you jealous?"
He once again started with his teasing talk. He has always been like this, he would always tease the people around him.

Lisa's cheeks blushed as she remembered again. "Shut up."
He laughed loudly.

"So, be my girlfriend to prove them all wrong."
