Third pov
"We need to get out of here," Alice said "no I gotta go this is crazy," Blake said and ran away "Blake" Everett screamed and ran after the girl" "shit" Harlan and Alice said at the same time. Luna ran after them too. The Brunett turned to the boy. "We need to go after them" "okay come on" the boy said and ran after them. "Too much running for one fucking day," Alice said went after them she was the fastest and now was behind blake. It was getting hotter and hotter "shit fire" she whispered "Blake stop" she called.
Meanwhile, the others ran behind " Hey! Wait up! What's his name again?" Harlan asked his sister "Everett." " Everett! Dude, hold up. Do they even know where they're going?" he was annoyed " Do you?" " Not really." " We're going in the wrong direction." Luna said " How would you know that?" Harlan looked at his sister " Because it's getting hotter. " Blake bumped into a firefighter. When everyone caught up with her. "Are you all right?" the man asked everyone except Alice was panting from running " Hold on. I know these kids." A woman said " What do you think you're doing? You told me we're going home. Who are these three" she asked the twins "Are they friends of yours? " "Yeah, uh, that's Evan. " Harlan started and his sister corrected him "Everett." " Everett. He's Everett. She's..." he stepped " Blake. " "Everett and Blake. They... they go to school with us. They're in our class. They're in a grade below us." "and this is Alice " "you are the girl that ran away" the woman said to Alice" " I was alright so I left" "Okay you two , the truth, please." she said " We were just trying to find our way back. We all were." Luna said "What about you? How come you're not saying anything?" " I'm not as good a liar as he is."Blake  looked up " Funny. I like you. Come on. You're all going home. Go. Go. Come on." the woman said strictly
The teenagers got into the car. "You OK?" "Yeah, I'm fine." "So you guys are... " "Seniors." " Yeah, I kind of knew that. " "We should talk to them. We don't even know them." "calm down sour wolf they are confused that's it" Alice said putting a hand on Harlan's back "please take your hand of my brother or according to his face he might crush the car" Luna said "sorry" " Everett, why'd you run into the woods? " Harlan asked the boy after he calmed down his heartbeat "I heard a wolf howl." the boy answered " You heard it too. So did we." luna said "Luna, stop talking. " Harlan said angrily "Did you get a call? A phone call?" Everett asked " From who? " Alice asked "I don't know, but he said he was gonna try and kill me before the next full moon... " the boy was getting scared "no one's going to kill you Everett," Alice said "how would you know" "I won't let it, it's hard to explain but I feel connected to you four like an Alpha connected to its pack, it's weird " "One question. I just want to know one thing, OK? Did something bite you? Were you bitten?" Luna asked "We both were. I can show you." Everett said showing the place where he was bitten. Harlan scoffed." There is nothing" "he healed. It's good. That means you're gonna live" Alice explained " excuse me what do you mean I could have died " "the bite either turns you or kills you. It's easier to turn a teenager than an adult that's why he bit you". By the end of Alice's explanation the car stopped near Everett's house " Um, remember, Blake, if you need it, or if you want to teach it to your brother, it's called Lion's Breath. " he said and left. After a while, they left Blake too "where do you live" Harlan asked Alice "funny story I don't live here, I live in Beacon Hills, but it doesn't exist here apparently " "what do you mean I'm confused" Luna asked "I was walking through the woods when suddenly the wind hit me when I opened my eyes I wasn't in Beacon Hills anymore. The fire around me and all of that" Alice said with a sad voice, Harlan didn't like the fact that the girl was sad all he wanted to do was make her happy he didn't understand that feeling but he kind of liked it. "Yeah very believable," Luna said sarcastically "she is saying the truth, her heartbeat was steady," Harlan said defensively "you can stay with us if you amh want," the boy said "okay" Harlan was delighted. The boy parked the car and they entered the house.

"I already told you, we don't know them." he said to the woman "Then what were they doing out there with you?" she asked " Nothing." " Luna? So they were just there, hanging out in the woods in the middle of a wildfire?" the woman was getting annoyed " I guess so." "OK. Come here. We've airlifted hikers out of these areas here and here. There are crews working on this fire line right now." the woman said showing the map to the teens. "Over here is where we think your dad is probably taking cover." " Why would he be that far from the hotshot crews?" Luna asked " We don't know. But look at this. This here, this is a wall of fire. Do you understand that? There's no going through it on foot. " the woman pointed at the map "Then what do they do, just leave him out there?" Harlan was getting angry " No. Search and rescue is working overtime to find him. But the helicopters can only get so far in the wind and smoke. They run out of fuel. They have to deal with complex downdrafts affecting their landings. It takes time. " she explained "How much time?" Luna asked. Alice was looking at the map. "Garrett can survive a week in the woods on his own. We went through the same training. And if I were out there myself, the first thing I would do is look for higher ground where there's plenty of rock and nothing for the fire to burn. Right now, he's probably climbing up some peak trying to signal a helitack unit." the woman said.

"guarantee he is working his ass off to survive and refusing to give up. The two of you, you're not giving up either. We're going to find him." the woman said and left "Stop thinking about it. They're not our problem." Harlan said to his sister Alice just rolled her eyes. She was sympathetic towards newly bitten werewolves knowing how frightening and confusing it was. " If our actual father is the one that bit them, it's definitely our problem. " Luna protested "We don't know what happened to them." Harlan said, " We also don't know what happens when someone gets bit." "They either turn or die, weren't you listening to me " Alice said but was ignored " We barely know anything about any of this shit." Harlan said "I don't trust them. " " okay listen Harlan you don't know what its feels like to be bitten. Suddenly you become stronger faster. Your body changes and you have no idea what's going on with you. The worst is the first full moon. I almost killed my best friend when I had to go through the first fool moon before I learned how to control it" Alice said "we need to talk to them" Luna said "I don't trust them" Harlan said. Alice put her hands on his shoulders. The boy closed his eyes both of them felt tingles go through their bodies. "You don't need to trust them straight after. Just a talk they are in this as much as you two are. One talk won't kill you, darling" Harlan put his head on Alice's hand. "What's going on with me why do I feel this way towards you?" he asked "I can try to explain what I know" Alice said "let's go upstairs to my room " he said and took place hand they went upstairs.
