Eclipse of nightmare

Chapter eight

Third pov
Alice gasped opening her eyes she was covered in a cold sweat. "You okay" the girl sat up on the bed and looked at the door "when did you get here Cyrus" Alice breathed out when suddenly the boy's head fell.  "Ahh" Alice opened her eyes again. She got up and got ready for new school.

"And you couldn't wake up?" Blake asked "Nope, and it was beyond terrifying." Alice answered, "You ever hear of sleep paralysis?" Mccall looked at Blake "Uh, no, do I want to?" Blake asked "Where you feel like you're about to wake up but you can't move or talk?" "Yeah. Yeah, I've had that." it happens because during REM sleep your body
is basically paralyzed. It's called muscle atonia.
That way if you start dreaming about running,
You don't actually start running in your bed." Alice explained what Stiles had told her and Scott back then.  "That makes sense." Blake murmured "But sometimes your mind can wake up before your body does. So for this split second, you're actually
aware that your body is paralyzed." Alice stopped for a second  "And that's the terrifying part. It turns your dream into a nightmare. You can feel like you're falling, Like you're being strangled,
or, in my case, you see how one of your mate's head falls off" the girl finished "that's horrific" Blake looked at the girl. "Yeah, But you want to know what scares me" Alice looked at the girl "I'm not sure if this is real" Alice gasped and got of the bed she ran downstairs and took a knife "you can't feel pain in dreams" she murmured and put a cloth in her mouth because if she is awake she didn't want to wake others. She took a knife and stabbed her palm "mghhh" yep she was definitely awake. She took the knife from her hand and washed it. The wound healed. "What's going on with me"

"You don't look good you okay," Cyrus ask entering the school "see I'm not the only one," Harlan said "guys I'm fine really just a little bit exhausted. I had nightmares all night happens sometimes" "Are you sure" "yeah"  they went to the classroom and Luna came. After a while Cyrus looked at Harlan "your hand" "what?" "it's shaking" Alice looked at them "what's going on" "Everett"

"What's wrong with you?" Blake asked, " I'm just having a little anxiety." Everett explained " Oh, really? Because I'm having a lot, and it's coming from you." Blake said the twins and Alice ran into the bathroom " I told you it was him. " "What's wrong?" " He's having a panic attack." Blake answered " No, I'm not. It's... It's anxiety, okay?" " You need to learn how to relax." Harlan spat out " No shit." Everett snapped  "Ugh, my heart, I can't get my heart to slow down. " Blake groaned Alice went up to the girl cheking her. "Wow, I never... I never tried that. What a great fսcking idea." "Everett, please stop." Luna groaned "How is this my fault?" " Because you're having a panic attack," Harlan shouted "and it's affecting us." " It's not a panic attack. It's just an anxiety attack." Everett breathed out  "What's the difference? Anxiety is triggered by a stressor, and panic attacks can come out of nowhere." Everett looked at the others "So you're having anxiety, and we're panicking because you know what's making you anxious and we don't?" Blake asked "I guess, kind of." " Well, what the fսck is making you so anxious?" Harlan fumed "Maybe it's getting bit by a werewolf, or getting chased by a werewolf, or attacked by a werewolf, or my best fսcking friend killed by a werewolf. " "Stop saying "werewolf." " "Werewolf." "I'm gonna kick your ass." " Werewolf, werewolf, werewolf, werewolf, werewolf." Harlan pushed the boy up against a wall. His face changed. "Harlan" Alice shouted in an animalistic voice her eyes bright red. The boy let go of Everett and his face came back to normal. Everett's heartbeat came to normal and he breathed out. "Hundred medicines for all these years and all it took for my anxiety to settle down was you shouting in your weird Alpha voice" the boy said barely in a whisper. Suddenly The bell was heard. "Go," Alice said "what about you" Luna looked at the girl "I'll be there in a second" everyone left. Suddenly a static noise was heard. Alice looked up at the broken mirror. There were three figures in metal gas masks and old clothes standing behind her. She looked back but nobody was there. The girl hit the mirror and the figures disappeared. "Yeah that's official I'm going nuts," she said and hurried out of the bathroom.
The school was over and everyone left.
Austin and Luna were in her room alone "You can draw, right? " he asked "No, not really." the boy looked at all her drawings "Not really? These are great.  if I describe something to you, do you think you can draw it?" "I mean, I can try, so long as it's not a portrait. I'm not great with faces. What do you want me to draw?" and with it, Austin started to explain. "How's this look?" " The eyes are wrong. It's not like a cat. It's not slitted." Luna drew eyes again " More like this?" " Yeah, that's better. Now do the claws. Not so curved. Sharper." the drops of blood fell on the paper. The girl looked up at Austin and than at a paper again. It was gone "What? You had it. Keep going." the girl didn't move " Luna, what's wrong? Are you okay?"Austin asked worried " Yeah. Um, is this it? Is this what you think you saw?" Luna gave her drawing to the boy  "Austin..." " Don't. Don't say that you believe me, or that you know it was traumatic, or there was lots of smoke, or any of that bullshit, because I've heard it already. " the boy said "I believe you." " I just said you don't have to lie to me." Austin breathed out " I'm not lying, Austin. If you see it again, run. " the boy looked confused.

Alice, and Harlan,  entered the club where Cyrus worked. When the boy saw his mates his face became joyful. The pair drank a few shots of vodka and talked over loud music. Cyrus played with a lighter  "It was my dad's." he said " Why would a firefighter carry a lighter?" Harlan asked curiously " 'Cause sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire. you know " "I never met my dad, so it's all I've got from him." he said putting a lighter down and taking another shot to pour vodka " What happened?" Alice asked   "He died in a fire." the boy gave a shot to Alice
when suddenly the two werewolves heard a howl. "We need to leave," Alice said to Cyrus. "Everything's alright?" he asked "yeah" she wasn't sure about it but she didn't want to worry him.
The pair got into the car and drive toward the direction of the howl. It led to the parking lot of the cinema. There were Blake, Everett, and a little boy named Denny "you heard me too" she asked "we heard your howl" Luna answered coming closer to the others. "Denny had a clutch of his hair," Blake said showing it to the teens "you know I had enough of him he kills every night we need to do something," Blake said through greeted teeth. "I have an idea we are running from him this whole time what if we call for him and lure him to us might as well save someone's life tonight." Alice said "okay, yeah, and how do we do that," Luna asked "we need to get to school"
Harlan was driving like mad man "could you please slow down" Everret asked panicking "we are trying to save someone's life or what" the boy asked.  After a while of screaming and horrible driving the car parked near the school. The group entered the building and went to the principal's office. Alice turned on the mic and looked at the others "okay now I need one of you to howl in this mic." "well go Harlan," Blake said "why me" "because you are the one who could change your face" Luna answered "okay" the boy sighed and took a mic. He opened his mouth and howled. The voice was so loud that everyone had to put their hands to their ears "yeah he definitely got it" Alice said "now what"  "now we wait"
Everett and Blake were in the hall when suddenly a werewolf jumped through the window "ahh" they screamed as ran. They found the twins and Alice and called out "run" the teenagers ran into one room. "No not here," Alice said but nobody listened to her. They put a table and chairs at the door blocking the pass "guys not here no" still nothing "guys Alice is speaking hey" they just continued "hey help me" "guys could you wait for a second, hallo" Alice shouted and everyone looked at her "okay nice work, really beautiful job everyone now what should we do about the twenty-foot wall of windows" Alice said pointing towards the windows. Now she understood how stiles had felt. "Shit" Harlan said "okay okay we led him in probably saving someone's life by it but now we need to get out," Alice said "how" Everett looked around "it's a chemistry lab there is everything you need to make a Molotov cocktail. If we do that and one of us distracts it we will be able to get out" the boy said "perfect. Make it and I will distract him while you get to the car" the boy nodded and got down to business "wait. no, I'm not leaving you with him " Harlan protested not wanting his mate to get hurt. "Darling I have fought with him before I'm stronger I can do it " "done" Everett exclaimed and gave two bottles to the girl okay. The girl lit them up and left the room.  After a few seconds, she heard a sneer right behind her. She turned and threw one bottle at him and the creature just dodged it the girl heard car leaving the area. she threw another and it blew up near him harming his hind paws but not enough to kill him. "Okay" the girl breathed out and got on her knees she growled and in her place, a beautiful black wolf appeared. it had bright red eyes and was way bigger than other wolves.
