Harry fiddled with the coffee cup and small brown paper bag in his hand as he walked into the tall commercial building. When Draco had told him he was a businessman of sorts, he did not expect to be led to an expensive high rise building when Draco asked for his coffee to be delivered.
He took deep breaths as he walked towards the receptionist. Everything and everyone looked right out a movie set, shiny and untouchable. Harry felt like his scruffy trainers would ruin the flooring.
"Is there anything you need sir?"
The receptionist had a pinched expression on her face that barely shielded her clear distaste for Harry's appearance. Harry huffed, feeling a bit self conscious in his ripped jeans and white hoodie.
"I'm Harry Potter, here to see Draco Malfoy, he asked for me." Harry answered.
The woman's blonde brows shot up in surprise. Her nose twitched, picking up on Harry's omega scent before scrunching up. Even without her saying anything, her eyes were more than enough to give off what she was thinking.
'Slut.'
"You cannot see Mr. Malfoy without an appointment, you do not have an appointment." The beta woman stated firmly.
Harry let out an exasperated sigh. Did this woman think he was stupid? She didn't even check whether his name was on that damned computer of hers.
"Look, obviously I know that, but I wouldn't be wasting my time here if he didn't personally ask for me to come okay?" He placed an emphasis on the personally to get his point across.
The woman was not impressed and continued doing her work. He was getting frustrated very fast and it began to show in his scent if the shuffling of a few alphas in the room was anything to go by.
"Could you at least call him and ask?" Harry asked visibly annoyed.
The receptionist sighed and faced Harry once more, "Listen here omega, if you do not vacate this premises at once, I will have the security guards come here and drag you out."
Harry bristled and then shrank in on himself. He knew that if he tried anything he would ultimately be the one ridiculed, resigning himself to his fate, he was about to walk away when he was interrupted by a female voice.
"And is that how you treat people?"
Harry spun to find a female alpha standing beside him. She was slightly shorter than harry, her dark hair in a short bob. Her red painted lips were twisted in disapproval as she stared the receptionist down with her olive eyes.
The receptionist was obviously startled and her once proud expression shrivelled at once under the woman's dark gaze.
"Draco does not pay you to be a snotty bitch Ms. Flaer," The alpha stated matter-of-factly, "And he especially would not appreciate you talking to his omega like that, I am very sure you would like to keep your job."
The woman shivered and shook her head. The alpha smiled and then gently led Harry towards what looked like the executive elevator. Harry ignored the curious gazes of the other people in the large reception, only sighing in relief when the elevator doors finally closed.
The other woman in the elevator was staring at him in amusement, "I take it you are not a people person?" she asked, stretching out her hand for a handshake.
Harry shook her hand, a smile on his face, "You have no idea, I'm Harry Potter by the way."
"Pansy Parkinson, I already know who you are Potter." the woman stated.
Harry seemed confused for a moment and it must have shown because Pansy let out a small giggle, her eyes glinting.
"As his personal secretary and best friend, I think I would know the omega that has been taking up so much of his time and brain space, Harry."
