"Xaviell, Xaviell, Xaviell..."

I groaned, then covered my eyes with my arm. I turned to the other side, away from the window.

I felt the corner of my lips rise. I know what's going to happen next. This has been our morning routine since the past week. And I must say, my Valentine's quite persistent.

As expected, I felt her arms around my waist and her chin on my shoulder. Pinipigilan ko lang ang sarili na harapin siya dahil natutuwa talaga ako sa ginagawa niya.

I'm lying on my left side, so only my right shoulder and cheek are accessible to her. Pinagpag niya ng halik ang at pisngi ko habang hindi pa rin inaalis ang pagkakayakap sa akin.

"Where's the box?" Ah, here it goes. "Para sa akin naman 'yon, diba?"

She snuggled closer. Her face rested on my right cheek as her arms and legs are draped around me. I pretended to be asleep and next thing I knew, she was lying on top of me.

"Alam kong gising ka na," she said gently before kissing my cheek again.

She didn't speak after that, which bothered me a little. I opened my eyes and saw that she was already looking at me. My breathing hitched when I realized how close we are to each other.

She has a calm smile on her face. She's not affected at all! Yet here I am, unmoving and breathless just because of our close proximity.

"Bangon na," she said, then getting up. But before she could even leave my side, I placed my hands on her waist and pulled her back to me. She shrieked before letting out a cute chuckle.

"Do you really want the box?" I asked. She nodded excitedly.

I sighed, then getting up. The box she's been wanting to see is the one where I kept all the random things I bought for her. It all started when I got her a terrarium keychain. After that, every time I see something that reminds me of her, I couldn't help myself but buy those.

"The twins shouldn't have brought it with them," I said with a sigh, suppressing the smile that has been attempting to escape my lips. She looks so excited and who am I to say no to her?

I went to the bathroom to wash my face and she followed me like an adorable pup. I eyed her yet she only grinned at me.

She followed me when I went to the safe I'm keeping in my walk-in closet. I took the medium-sized box and handed it to her.

Nang mahawakan niya ang box ay mabilis siyang lumabas pero agad din namang bumalik sa harapan ko. She tiptoed and kissed both of my cheeks before running out from the walk-in closet.

Sinundan ko siya ng tingin at nakitang lumabas siya sa may balkonahe ng aming kwarto.

I stood leaning on the door frame as I watch her open the box. I wasn't so enthusiastic about giving her the box because she might think that I'm obsessed with her and she might leave because it's gross...

I mean, yeah, I can't get enough of her but that doesn't mean I'm obsessed with her! Or maybe I'm just in denial?

I shook my head and went to her side instead. For some reason, I can remember every single thing that's inside the box—tea bags, a mini ukulele, paint brushes, gouache, beads, anklets, a few pairs of boots, and mostly green- and brown-colored things.

I also got her a mini version of her cottage but it's a ref magnet, some picnic blankets, floral-scented perfumes, picture frames, and vintage Polaroid cameras.

As she's rummaging through the box, I got the chance to study her features. I like looking at her when her attention is somewhere else. I get to see the details of her face without her distracting me with her teases.
