Hey!! Here is an UPDATE for you. I goes completely off topic, but don't worry there's a method behind the madness. :)

Enjoy.

Chapter 15

A little more than uncomfortable

The car ride was painfully quiet at the start, but then Kaiden is talking about his track team and their success in their recent races. Dusk was obviously irritated with his half-brother and constantly made low huff sounds every time Kaiden turns his head to ask me what I thought about the track team's performance. To be polite I agreed with pretty much everything he had asked me. I usually hang out under the bleachers watching Dusk smoke a cigarette so I knew nothing about their races or practices.

"Will you shut up already dick face." Dusk growled making Kaiden turn his attention away from me and to his brother. "If he wasn't so nice he would of punched your overly productive mouth." Kaiden had shot gun and Dusk was in the driver's seat, which left me in the back seat with their bags.

"Hold the phone!" Kaiden announced and slammed his hand on the dashboard making both Dusk and I look at him questioningly. Well, it scared me and I jumped a little. "Somebody is using big words!"

Dusk removed a hand from the steering wheel to whack him on the arm with power. "You fuckin idiot!" Kaiden first yelped out before laughing and simultaneously rubbing his arm. "Do you want me to crash you fucktard!" Dusk hit him again before putting his other hand back on the wheel.

This sort of reminded me of how I act with Tommy. The corners of my lips turn up at the thought. Everything has been going perfectly. My life is finally normal, I found my voice and I've met a really great person. Yes, I do mean Dusk. I can't help but feel a little sad that Hearn no longer takes more than five minutes to talk to me. I don't really remember what I did.

"Hey, if you two are going to be sharing a room I don't want to hear any moaning through the wall. Keep in mind I sleep in the room right next door." Kaiden was suddenly facing me, his body twisting a bit to look back at me. I didn't know how to respond to what he had just said.

"Dude, he doesn't understand what you're trying to say, he's as innocent as innocent can get." Dusk say's before pulling into the drive through of a fast food restaurant.

"What do you mean?" Kaiden asked looking at Dusk as he rolled down his window to place an order.

"Shut up." He elbowed Kaiden in the chest when he leaned over Dusk to look at the menu. They ordered a lot and most of it going to Kaiden. I guess it was okay for him to eat a lot since he runs all the time. Dusk had got me nuggets and vanilla ice cream. I really do enjoy food. Dusk doesn't know my past and I was pretty happy about that. It was like I was leaving it all behind. I'm going to enjoy this little vacation.

_-_

Dusk made me carry his things in and Kaiden helped me. I really didn't mind the help, but I didn't understand a thing he was talking about. I know nothing about sports. He apparently didn't mind that I had no response since he just kept talking.
