I was suddenly forced into standing straight while I was floated in front of the pair. I struggled and panicked while being held in place.
"fuck, fuck, fucking fuck."
I muttered, my stars glowing more as I tried to think of anything that could help me escape.
"pinetree."
Oh gods I'm going to die.
"p-pinetree."
Whats gonna happen to leo?
"p-pinetree?"
Oh gods whos going to warn them-
"Dipper!"
"what! Can't you see I'm contemplating my mortality here?"
I said, pouting at the pair who looked at me. A beat. Then Bill broke down laughing, letting go as I fell to the ground with a groan. Digging my fingers into the dirt, I felt the heat in my veins and focused it into the ground, imaging them wrapped in vines and tree roots. I heard two surprised yelps and opened my eyes, to my surprise it worked! They where wrapped in the roots of the nearby trees. I silently cheered, but quickly forgot it and got up, rushing into the forest before I could acknowledge the pair burning through the trees roots.
I weaved through the trees and skid under branches and rocks, I apologised to a giant I nearly hit, waving to some hid-behinds that thought I missed them. I spotted a flurry of flitting wings and rainbow colour and stopped in front of them, catching my breath. I heard a jingle and looked up to see an angry fairy before they recognised me. They jungles worriedly, the whole group, flitting around me and checking for injuries.
"guys, I'm fine! I just need a moment to catch my breath and I wanted to give you all a warning."
I held my hand out and one jingles at me pointing her tiny hand to my head, I sighed and shrugged.
"I don't know about all this either, it just happened after I put on this ring."
I said, showing the ring from my grandpa. She made a gasping like face and a set of excited and amazed chimes left her and she flew around my hand.
"you know what this means? Well, I'll be back tomorrow, I'll meet you in the grotto, but tell your royals that he is back. And it seems he has two brothers with similar powers."
I said, she looked aghast and let out some horrible sounding chimes in her fear.
"hey! Hey, hey hey! It's okay, I'll find out what's going on. I'm going to try contact the Greater one and see if they know anything about this."
She seemed to calm down and nodded, flying up and poking my nose a few times as I laughed.
"ill tell you what they tell me, mayfeather."
She nodded and flew off, some other fairies following and 3 others staying by me. I knew the three fairies as flurry shine, summer staine and flower fell.
"right lady's, if you wanna stick to me we need to go fast. I don't know how fast the pair of them are and I'm not willing to find out."
They nodded, and flitted around me a few more times. I noticed some of the little green men hiding in the bushes and crouched down.
"you guys should hide to. I don't know what they want yet."
"we will, starling."
One said, saluting as it jumped into the bushes. I let the name pass me by as I started to run again, the fairies following me in their colourful glows. I past the scampfires, one of them being filled in by flurry shine who them rejoined me and rushed to jingle for my attention.
"what do you mean there's new creatures? T-A triserotopse? Gods I forgot about the tree sapLIIIIN-"
I screamed as I tripped into another clearing and landed on my face with a groan. Looking up I saw a glow around me as all my constellations continued to glow, the fairies joining me made it even more easy to see.
"I'm okay, girls. Just a bit shocked, we should find a place to hid for the time being."
They made noises of agreement but insisted to try heal me of the small cuts and bruises I'd acquired.
"if your so insistent fine but I want to see if I can heal myself with these new powers first."
They nodded and sat on my knees and head, I closed my eyes for a second and thought of my cuts closing and the bruises fading. I felt my skin hum and peaked open my eyes to see small green specs floating around me as the fairies tried to grab the tiny glowing orbs. I looked at my arms and noticed the cut and bruises had gone. I tried to turn of the healing and eventually it disapated, but left my feeling very fatigued. I held my head as summer staine shook her tiny fist at me.
"I've had these for less than a week, how am I meant to know what's to little and to much magic to use at a time."
I grumbled, pulling out my note pan and adding to my notes on what powers I had.
"what next? I'll be able to speak to all animals?"
I looked up and saw a gryffin about to open its beak and I put my hand up.
"nope. Not right now, Clarence. Not right now."
He sat and flicked his lion tail at me and huffed. The fairies chimed laughter made me smile as I crawled to Clarence and lent against his side with a yawn.
"mind if I ret here for a bit? Till I get my energy back?"
Opening his beak again, only to shut it, he nodded. He waited till I was comfortably leaned into his side and wrapped a wing over me, placing his head in my lap. The fairies said they keep look out as I rest, flitting to the place I'd fallen from as I laid my head into the soft feathers of the gryffin and napped.
