"guys?"
Will turn to me.
"Y-yeah?"
I nodded to leo, he nodded coming closer as I whispered to him.
"i think leo may be like me... But I want you to see if you can see any of the... Demon gene in them."
Will blinked confused and whispered back to me.
"b-but they'd be I-immortal?dont you-"
"they will also be hunted by their own family. They are to younger to deal with such things."
I hissed angrily, making will flinch. Bill gave us a side eye, I sighed and muttered an apology.
"i-I get it, I-I'll check f-for you."
He said and fell back to talk with Leo, Bill stepped closer with a small glare, hissing at me.
"what did you say to him."
I glanced at the pair and saw a blue light flash over leo for early a second.
"you'll find out in a second."
Will walked back up to us as I glanced at him. He shook his head and I relaxed, falling back to walk with Leo as will went to Bill.
"you remember this morning?"
Leo lit up and nodded. Jumping a few steps in front of me with a karate pose.
"yeah! We might be able to both have powers! We can fight crime! Be heros!"
I smiled at their antics and glances to see the brothers look back at us with a smile, will blushing as he met my eyes and bill only smirking and winking at me. I rolled my eyes as we walked further, scooping leo into my arms, making them giggle.
"we might be able to do it sooner than I thought, just a bit of help from friends."
Leo looked at the two in front of us, eyes widening, pointing at the pair as we made it to a clearing.
"THESE ARE THE FRIENDS!"
They squealed, reminding me of my twelve-year-old self as a laughed.
"yep! They're going to help me figure out some stuff, see, I have a slightly different part on my DNA which means I need more help and my powers may be different or react differently. I'll still help you with your powers and I'll teach you all I know, it's all in my notepads and journals. And I'll keep writing them for you."
They smiled, eyes growing brightly as I continued and they launched themselves around my neck as I laughed, hugging them back. The brothers smiling at me with a leo and Bill speaking up.
"well, we are going to work with pinetree first, kid. I don't know if he'll want you to... See some of the stuff he may need to do. Do you wanna go hang out with some friends at the park?"
Leo looked down trodden at that as I turn to them with a smile.
"I'll teach you some stuff when I get home, make friends and have fun. You're six and on holiday, if you're in trouble ca-"
"Y-yell for me, I-I'll b-be there in a-a sec!"
Will interrupted me, smiling at leo who's eyes grew.
"yes will-zard!"
They said, rushing back down the path to the park as I laughed, will blushing and Bill snickering. I shook my head at turnt to Will, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"it means a lot you'd look over my sibling, thank you, Will."
Giving him a closed eye smile and tilting my head, when I reopened my eyes he was blushing and so was Bill. I raised a brow only for Bill to pull me to him with a smile.
"well let's get started on halfling-to-demon 101, yes?"
I sighed and shook my head with a sarcastic smile.
"if we must."
I said as he dragged me to a large rock and clicked his fingers, it becoming a pile of silk pillows as he pushed me into it. I let out a surprised yell only to be left in a heep of blue and yellow as I looked up at the brothers who where snickering at my misfortune.
"oh haha, laugh it up. Now, how do we find out what type of demon I am?"
I said, grabbing and moving some pillows around, closing my eyes to imagine them all turning green and opened my eyes to see they'd all changed to the colour and smiled in my victory as Bill started his explanation, Will nestling into the green pillows with, what sounded like, a purr.
"well, there are hundreds of different demon types, usually, its whatever you parents where or some combination of however many parents you haves powers."
Bill said, summoning a black board with doodles all over it, I tilted my head.
"so demons can have more than two parents?"
Bill blushed along with will who cleared his throat before speaking.
"w-well yeah, d-demon pregnancy is made di-differently to others. I-its a whole ritual and t-then- u-um-"
I continued to look at him curiously as he blushed more.
"you basically have sex with whoever you want to be in some form the parents in the place you did the ritual."
Bill finished quickly, also a rosy red as I nodded, writing it down.
"you'll have to explain it more to me, I've always like the idea of having kids."
I said, muttering the last bit. They obviously heard as they turnt a brighter shade of red.
"we'll do that when the time comes! Which isn't now! So! Let's go through the list of thing we need to do-"
He spun the board and stopped it, it having different words and doodles.
"first, we go through a list of words! Yaaaay!"
Will made a weak cheer to go along with Bill, making me giggle. Handing me a green chalk price he stood me up.
"hold this up to the board with your magic and order it to circle the appropriate words!"
He said, flopping to the pillows. I sighed nervously and tried to but I had full control still as didn't know what to do.
"no, no, no! You need to relax! Let all of you fears go and focus on the magic! It'll work then."
Bill said, taking my left hand and holding it, his hand drifting to the cipher wheel. I felt Will take my other hand and he smiled assuredly, I sighed and took a deep breath before letting it go slowly. I relaxed and focused on the warmth in my veins, using what little control I had to order the chalk as bill said. I felt the pairs eyes on me and slowly opened my eyes. I looked at the board and then I glanced at the floor around me, the glass we parted by a collage of beautiful flowers. Two azelea's had grown either side of the ciphers, the stars on my skin glowed softly, not as harsh as they normally where. I felt more than saw my eyes glowing, the ealing of peace was all I could focus on till will squeeze my hand making me look to him. He had been wrapped in yellow roses the thorns facing out wards and not harming him, they didn't cover his face and arm however, he still looked nervous. Turning to Bill a saw a similar situation with Ceanothus Victoria branches and he looked more like the cookie monster than the scary dream demon of my past I thought with a giggle, or even the attractive man of my present... My thoughts strayed as I blushed, suddenly letting go of the pairs hands as the chalk shot to me from the board, having finished its scribbling a while ago. I blushed more and shook it off, touching the flowers around the pair and ordering them to free the demons. They complied, opening enough for them to get out, and then forming bushes, as if commerce to what had happened. Pouting I flopped into the pillows, only to jump, noticing the soft moss around it now. I looked to the silent pair above me only to see them still staring, mouths looking for the words they couldn't form.
"well? What does the board mean?"
Bill turnt pink and rushed to it, Will seeming to collect himself and walking to sit with me.
"T-that w-was beautiful..."
He said in an amazed tone, my face glowing red at the compliment. I saw a red petal fall past my face and picked it up, turning it in my hands only to reach into my hair and pull off a red rose flower crown. I threw it away turning more red, if possible and hid in a pillow.
"aww~ cute~"
Will said, surprising me with the lack of stutter. He only smiled, a light blush dusting his cheeks going to speak only for Bill to walk up to him and smack his head.
"no, back William. Not in lesson."
Bill said, shaking his finger as will rubbed his head with a pout, my blush dying down.
"S-sorry."
"its alright, ANY WHO! lookie here!"
Bill said, the board which now had 5 words on it.
'earth, sky, frost, death, hunt.'
I blinked and so did will.
"T-that shortened the l-li-list."
I looked to him with a raised brow, he smiled at me as bill spoke.
"yep, there are four demons I can think of in my all seeingness that fit even part of this description."
He said, spinning the board as four names appeared in separate corners.
Blaskix-
A creature that is known for its hunting capabilities, it follows the tales of giant snakes with its deadly stare. They are tied to the earth and struggle to function in colder climates, they are a higher class gorgan and have the strongest poisons known to the universes.
Chenoo-
An evil force with the powers of ice and snow, known for their cannibalistic nature and violent tendencies. They hunt for any and all poor souls in their mountains. They can't be at lower climates as their lungs are built for the higher altitudes, it struggles to interact with things such as plants and hunting as it tends to rage and kill when it sees something in its territory.
Banshee-
They tend to be women who have died painfully or of heart break, their cries warn of death each banshee stands to be confined to a certain area of forest they are violent and sometimes hunt their prey by tricking them into hearing their loved ones through the thicket. Killing the souls and leaving nothing but a head, forever trapped in a state of horror as the beautiful maiden turnt witch consumed them before they could feel anything else.
