I groaned as I woke up, going to stretch only to wince and groan at the pain in my lower back and jaw. I blinked open my eyes and yawned, looking up at will who was cuddled into my hair. I smiled and nuzzled into his shoulder with a purr, I was so cozy I don't think anything could ruin this. Then as I moved my arms i winced, pouting.
"that'll do it..."
I muttered with a yawn as I heard the door opened and turnt over my shoulder to see bill walking in with three food boxes behind him.
"morning, strawberry, how'd you sleep?"
He said, sitting on the edge of the bed as I winced, flipping in wills arms with a pout.
"alright, now my everything aches. I blame you."
I said, realising my legs still slightly shook, I went to try sit up only to yelp and flop back onto my back, rubbing my lower back. Bill smiled smugly at me as I glared at him.
"when I can sit up I'm beating your ass."
"of course, dear."
He said with a smile. I rolled my eyes and looked to will who was slowly stirring. I suddenly realised I was completely naked and sighed, waving my hand so I could be fully clothed again in fluffy pj's. I heard a click and my shirt was suddenly replaced with a baggy jumper with a wide enough neck to show off my shoulders. I pouted and looked at will who only nuzzled into my neck with false innocents.
"m-morning s-starlight, bill."
He said, smiling with thinly veiled smugness as he kissed a bite from the night before, making me shiver.
"morning, will. So who's getting their eyes carved out first."
I smiled closing my eyes, I felt will flinch as bill laughed nervously.
"n-neither of us?"
"hmmm, I'll decide that, now someone help me up and get some strong ass painkillers."
I said, as will sat up and gently pulled me up, I hissed and glared at the pair. As bill passed me some pills and a cup, I took them and leaned on the head board.
"what time is it?"
I said, tilting my head to bill as he handed out food. Will started to eat his as he blinked away the tiredness from his eyes.
"about 9.30, not to early or to late. It's also two more days till the end of our trials, including the rest of today as a. Day."
"you said that in the most confusing way possible you know that?"
I said, eating as I thought over yesterday. Okay, so, I woke up, ate at the diner while hiding from my family, talked to Carl as will beat the shit outta that chick, got nearly killed, found out what a bonded is, the shape shifter is free roam, passed out, had a panic attack, played strip chess and had sex with my bonded.
"damn my like so shit."
I said out loud, earning confused looks from the pair.
"what?"
"think about everything before we cuddled and tell me I'm wrong."
I said, finishing my food as I stretched, hissing again, the pain a lot less as the pain killers slowly kicked in. Grumbling I waved my hands to remove the empty boxes and crumbs from my bed and yawned, making grabby hands at bill who picked me up.
"hm~ so cute~"
He said as he pulled me closer and nuzzled into my neck. Will smiled and walked to the door, taking us down stairs as I yawned again. Cuddling up on the sofa we talked for a while as the TV played a random show till a breaking news story appeared on the screen. Shandra Jimenez appeared of the screen, her face exasperated as she raised a brow behind the camera, mouthing 'really' as she smacked her papers to the desk. She sighed and started.
"breaking news for gravity falls residence, town hero, dipper pines, is missing. According to a witness from her store she watched as a large vine wall grew between Dipper and the other pines as he tried to protect the Notas from scientist, stanford pines." she squinted at the writing on her paper her eyes growing wide and she covered her mouth, looking behind the camera for what appeared to be confirmation. She paled before continuing.
"Stanford shot his quantum gun through the vine hedge, hiring dipper through the stomache as he appeared to have summoned the vines and the other dove out of the way. We know the younger pines has shown a knowledge of spells before and are wildly glad he did at this moment as he saved not only the Notas but his younger sibling, leo pines, from harm. He seemed to drop the spell in shock as he collapsed into William Notas arms. Billiam Nota and Killian nota where tending to, a no doubt traumatised Leo pines as the rest of the pines stood aside, doing nothing. A conversation happened between William nota and Dipper pines as nota ran towards the forest, stanford stopped them again! Making dipper cry out in pain. Our witness quoted."
A blacked out figure appeared in the corner of the screen, it looked to be a woman and she was shaking.
"h-he was in s-so much pain! T-the blood... Oh goods I was so sure he would d-die. T-the way f-ford looked at him was with a-such.... Disinterest! He didn't seem to care! It was terrible!"
The figure paused and disappeared as Sandra spoke again, a worried frown on her face.
"dipper screamed at stanford before crying out in pain once again for, after which william entered the forest. Billiam then grabbed and threw the older pines down the street, causing Stanley pines to finally come out of his shock and throw up, marble pines having a panic attack as she stared at where her brother was shot. Killian nota held Leo pines and tried to keep his eyes away from the spot and soon followed his brothers into the forest. We can only hope Dipper pines had some fail safe in the forest or knew of a healing mechanism in the woods. After a while ford was seem chasing the Notas into the woods, Stanley and marble seemingly trying to stop him and chasing to stop his chase. Any news on Town hero, Dipper pines will be appreciated and if Mr.pines sees this please contact the sheriff's office or a doctor. In other news-"
She said, holding her head as she looked over the next story, raising a brow.
"it seems Gideon gleeful has gone missing, some say they saw a kill-Billy around the old telepathy tent and he is suspected to be dead. Unfortunate but not unacspected due to how he treated them in the past. We give a huge thanks to the sheriff department for the amount of work they are putting in at this moment. As we speak, they are going to both the Notas and Pines residents to check on them. Gleefuls had already given statements."
I snickered at the photo they'd put of ford, it was him with his face in the concrete.
"we here at the news believe it's a fair recommendation to mister stanford pines to seek medical professionals help. That's all for today, back to your normal program!"
She said and a screening of duck-tective played. I laughed and leaned on will.
"oh boy is that going to be fun. Well, we had some time till they get here."
I said, finally stretching without pain as the painkillers had kicked in. I shakily stood up as my legs still felt weak but managed to stand properly. Walking over to my book shelf and reached behind my book on unicorns and pressed the button as the shelf next to it popped open. I walked down the stairs, not even glancing at the flabbergasted faces of the brothers as I went down to my basement. It went from the front of my drive way down to just below the back patio before the pool. It was all metal plated and had lare amounts of carvings and symbols on the walls and ceilings, most preventing any spells I knew of that could be used to see into the room and strengthened the metal, making gravity stable in here incase of another portal incident. There where multiple desks with shelves to the left, all marked with different words in Latin for what each dest was used for, on the wall by the stairs was ingredients and such. At the end where cages and cells for dangerous creatures that may need medical help but can completely control themselves when injured. Currently I'd only needed it for multi bear, one of his head teeth had rotted to the point the jaw was almost falling off, it made all the other heads terrified of anyone even friends. I managed to help him though and asked to check the rest of the heads, now having a jar of old teeth that needed to be removed and replaced. He thanked me and apologised profusely for a claw mark he'd given me, I'd healed it quickly and told him not to worry about it. I shook my head and walked to a cabinet labeled 'Medicinae pulveres et potiones' pulling out a jar full of yellow power and throwing it from hand to hand. I held it carefully under my arm as I walked back up to the brothers confused faces. As they poked at the door way, seemingly hitting invisible glass.
"oh, I should get that sorted. Huh?"
Clearing my throat I spoke.
"ᛅᛚᛚᚬᚢ ᛒᚬᚦ ᚢᛁᛚᛚᛁᛅᛘ ᛅᚾᛏ ᛒᛁᛚᛚᛁᛅᛘ ᚴᛁᛒᚼᛁᚱ ᛁᚾᛏᚬ ᛘᛁ ᛚᛅᛒ ᛚᛁᚢᛁᛚ 1. ᛋᚬ ᛘᚬᛏᛁ ᛁᛏ ᛒᛁ."
The magic around me flew and as bill ran to try break through the force feild he fell down the stairs and into my arms. I chuckled.
"you didn't have to fall that hard for me, honeycomb~"
I purred, making him blush as I snickered before continuing.
"however my legs are still heavily sore and I'm about 3 seconds from collapsing back down these stairs. Please stand up."
Bill scrambled up and held my shoulders, as I stabilised my legs. I continued up the stairs and smiled at will who was snickering at his brothers blush. I grabbed the from of his shirt and pulled his face to me as I smirked pecking his lips.
"don't laugh to much, blueberry, you still owe me and I haven't decided what I'm asking for yet."
I purred, walking past him while dragging my finger along his jaw. I walked to the door and saw the lights of the sheriffs car and waved my hand, putting me in baggy comfortable hoodie and joggers, a crutch hunger my arm and bandages around my middle. The door knocked and I shovelled over opening the door.
"officer blubbs and durland, how are you guys? Haven't seen you since o was last in town."
Blubbs looked relived I answered my door, bill and will walking up behind me.
"it's good to see you alive, mister pines, given the security footage I'd have thought..."
"whats that fancy jar ye gat there? Huh city boy?"
Durland asked, pointing to the yellow jar. I smiled and held it up.
"it was an experiment, was meant to be a way to knock out aggressive creatures when fairy dust didn't work but ended up being an amazing healer instead, even got me back my organs over night."
I said, tapping my stomach only to fake a wince, it did hurt, but it was mostly cause of last night's real activities.
"you know, I'm mighty glad I don't understand your sciencey stuff. I'd lose my mind like old ford if I did, what was that all about any way?"
I sighed and rolled my eyes as Bill waved off will who went to go make coffee as he 'helped' me to one of my chairs and stood to my right, sitting on a food stool next to me as the officers sat on the sofa as i pointed to Bill.
"he saw a Bill that likes the colour yellow and decided he was triangle, as though that makes sense."
I said with an eye role, blubbs and Durland shared a look then started to laugh.
"man! Old man mcguket is even more sane than him now! Hooweee!"
Durland said, slapping his knee, I shared a look with bill who smirked at me before looking at me conserned.
"yeah, said I was some cipher guy?" he shrugged and held my hand making me blush."to my knowledge, the guy hated all the pines and I absolutely adore strawberry here so I don't know where that one came from."
He said, rubbing my knuckles. As I turnt red, covering my face as the other two chuckled, will handed out coffee as he sat the other side of me lacing put fingers as bill let go of mine to sip his coffee.
"t-the idea m-my brother I-is a d-demon is laughable, e-evem s-said i w-was possessed."
Will scoffed, kissing the back of my hand and looking to me.
"y-you want a-any s-snacks?"
I shrugged, thinking before clicking my fingers.
"there's some donuts in the third cupboard on the right, wanna grab 'em?"
Bill got up and pat his brothers shoulder.
"I'll grab it, you keep an eye of him."
Blubbs looked at me and raised a brow.
"have these two been with you all night?"
I blushed slightly, remembering the day before.
"y-yeah , w-we were w-worried t-they'd c-come hurt s-starlight. A-so we s-stuck around."
Durland wrote it down whispering to Blubbs who smiled and rolled his eyes, or I assume he did given his eyebrow raise.
"well, we just got back from you boy's house and your brothers worried bout you, we'll tell 'em you're here and send em over. Also, we revoked the parking ticket on your car given the issues around it, it's in affect for 2 more days so you may wanna grab it."
I smiled in gratitude and nodded, knowing that in less than two days it wouldn't be needed.
"I'll get it later today, I want to get something to eat from the bakery."
With a nod Blubbs and Durland got up and left, not before snagging a donut.
"well that was close. Good thing I've got so much random bullshit."
I said, waving my hand so my clothes changed into a comfortable form fitting suit as I went down to my Lab, ignoring the eyes locked onto my legs as I disappeared behind the door again.
