It was now Tuesday and I dreaded it. Today, Mable was coming, and I was being made to attend the party. Its apparently going to be like the printer incident, I groaned as I opened my eyes, exhausted at the day before. During training we had found that Leo can talk to people with their mind, which was not a terrible experience at all. (they screamed the first time and nearly knocked me out) and me, Bill and will had a huge argument over when I should become a demon. It ended with me storming off with Leo and helping them expand their knowledge of the powers they now had, the ring having changed to the leo constellation with the big Dipper in the background. I let them keep the ring and told them to use it as a reminder that they always had me. They didn't let anyone even touch the hand the ring was on for two days. Grumbling and feeling exhausted from everything, I reluctantly got up. I got dressed into a teak button up and brown trousers, fluffing my hair and looking at my eyes in the mirror. I blinked twice then turn to the mirror fully, holding open my eyelids as I stated back at myself in the mirror. My eyes where no longer chocolaty brown, nor where they hypnotic green, now they where black as the void of space, full of stars and galaxies. I was tempted to call one of the brothers but remembered the fight of yesterday, instead decided to call kill.
"Killian, I-I think I need some help-"
He appeared right behind me and I closed my eyes.
"Dipper? What's wrong? I heard about the fight-how could I not- but you didn't need to-"
I turn to him, opening my eyes and gauging his reaction. He looked startled, he walked briskly over to me and held my face in his hands, staring into my eyes and tilting my head around.
"never in my immortal life have I seen anything like this in a human species... An owl sure but never a human or demon."
He muttered, taking his hands from my face as he looked at me in question.
"i don't know either. Should I just try and make an illusion or make them change?"
"I'd assume so, hopefully that'll work..."
He looked at my outfit and frowned.
"are you wearing that to the party?"
I looked at him embarrassed, pouting.
"i was planning on it, yes."
Rolling his eyes he grabbed my arm and sat me in the chair, pulling out a book from no-where and flipping through it.
"right, so you wanna go green? Or do you want to go blue? Violet? Orange? Periwinkle?"
I blinked, not saying a word as he groaned again, clicking his fingers and the book disappeared and a tape measure took its place. It flew at me, making me stand and took measurements as kill walked around me.
"i didn't take you for the fashion type, Killian."
Shrugging.
"i don't do much else, unlike my romance obsessed siblings. I prefer nothing of the sort and to work on my hobbies."
He said, clicking his fingers as three fabric floated in front of me.
"choose one."
He prompted, I felt them and pointed to the silky material to which he nodded.
"so kinda like aroace?"
He hummed, pausing his summoning before shrugging and passing me a pair of shoes.
"i suppose, I'm not into all of that stuff. I have someone who I care for deeply, but they are in my old home. I plan on going to them at the end of this."
He clicked his fingers and my outfit changed into a mint green jumper with a white collar, dark blue skinny jeans and the white shoes I'd been handed earlier. He walked to my dresser and picked up the necklace I found, putting it on my neck. I smiled and looked at myself in the mirror, I looked really good and Killian looked proud of himself.
"now I'm going to go rise my brothers from the dead, I suggest you do a similar task, it is noon... And sort the eyes out."
He disappeared and I looked into the mirror, focusing on the green I had them before and watched as the colours disappeared, and the glowing green I'd gown used to returned. I looked at the star patterns, and sighed, going to wake leo. I let them dress as they pleased, knowing susan agreed to watch over them when the actual party started. The pair had planned to learn more recipes and watch whatever they pleased.
"alright, let's go get mable from the station."
I smiled at Leo's groan of irritation, and hopped in the car and drove to the bus stop. Where pacifica, soos and Stan where waiting, the others probably at the party setting up.
"there are the hibernaters! Come here!"
Stan said, ruffling our hair as we got to them. We spoke for a bit about plans, talking about the party only to be interrupted by the bus.
"last stop, gravity falls."
The sound of hallued luggage as a large pink suitcase was thrown to the gravel and my spritly twin jumped out.
"It's Mable time!"
She cheered making everyone laugh except me, I rolled my eyes and picked up her suit case putting it in the back of my car as they caught up and the bus disappeared into the distance.
"oh I'm so glad to be back! It's so great to see you all again!"
She chipped, her eyes mainly on pacifica as I smirked. Already planning match maker, I jumped as two hands touched my shoulders. Turning I saw the brothers, bill and will having not looked at me yet and kill looking smug while holding my shoulders.
"we're all playing matchmaker today I suppose."
He whispered, I rose a brow but shrugged.
"they've been crushing on each other for over 5 years, it's bad."
I whispered back, the both of us laughing as Stan finally turn to us, smiling when he saw the guys. If only he and Ford knew... I shook it off as Stan spoke.
"will, kill, Bill! How are ya, boys? Haven't seen you in a day or two."
He said, walking to kill and slapping his back twice. I stepped behind kill as he and Stan started to talk, I glanced to the other brothers and saw them looking at me. I glanced to Mable, who was now looking confused at the new comers and pacifica tried to explain who they where. I walked to the pair as their faces grew red, I worried it was from anger for a moment before I nervously smiled at them, rubbing my arm.
"look... I'm sorry about the argument yesterday... This is all so stressful and new and I didn't know what to think of the suggestion so-"
"i-it's okay, s-starlight, w-we shouldn't have P-pushed."
Will said with a smile, Bill gave an apologetic smile before turning his face to the ground again. I held their hands and smiled, making them turn red.
"how's about at the end of this we do it, hm? Then we can work with the situation."
They nodded early and I smiled, I heard Mable whistle and turn to her. She was giving me a thumbs up and I turn red, pulling my jumper to cover my cheeks.
"S-see you at the party."
They smiled and nodded, going to talk with the others as I hounded pacifica, Leo, Mable and soos into my car, Stan taking his convertible back.
"let's get this show on the road huh?"
I said, hearing a cheer as I drove after stans erratic convertible. We arrived after Stan and I shared a smile with Leo who was beeming as he hopped out the car. We put mables stuff in the attic and went to the party room as Susan picked up leo. I smiled at all the colours and music, it was early 5 pm and I could already see people drinking. Rolling my eyes at the karaoke machine I went to the snacks, eating some while grabbing a pitt cola can. I went to go find a corner only to be pulled into the crowd by Mable, who was rushing around to re-introduce herself to everyone. Some people went to the karaoke machine, song played through and drinks where drunk, it got to about 6.30 before anything actually interesting happened. I spotted pacifica going to the stage, and request a song, I saw Mable at the front in a second. As the song started I recognised it as 'bubblegum bitch' and leaned watched as the song played out.
