It had been another week, mable and pacific started to hang around with me more, Leo made friends with some towns kids and played with them some days, us mostly sticking to lessons when we hang out. Bill and will had been busy with something they couldn't talk with me about apparently and I was basically left bored the whole day. I tended to go the the shack and hang out with grunkle Ford and Wendy when they where around, Ford and I exploring, Learn more about the forest and its creatures, and me and Wendy just talking, discussing her plans so far with nate on her wedding. But today I was beyond bored, Leo and mable where out for the prophecied 'sibling bonding', pacifica had some rich person stuff going on, soos and Stan running the shack as Wendy planned her wedding and Ford being as secretive as ever.
"gods at this point I'm actually considering talking to Gideon. It the end."
As if summoned to end the most boring day of my life the door knocked. I jumped up as opened it, forgetting to check the peep hole again as I looked at the person in front of me, a knife held at my neck. I realised we only erased their memories of our powers and not the actual plan as ghost eyes held the blade to me neck again.
"come with us. We don't have to make this messy."
I rolled my eyes and looked at him sarcastically.
"right, give me a minute."
I said turning to my side and picking up my house keys, phone and signal-It (I made it so people could find me if I went of the grid, its a small circular device that acts as a chip, bill, Stan and Leo have one of thee devices each.) walking out of my house and locking my door before strutting past the dumbfounded ghost eyes.
"y-you- uh-"
"can we get this whole song and dance over with? I have a class at 3."
Aka Leo will be home and want to learn more magic.
"or-right."
He said, taking my arm and walking me to a van with the four others following. I rolled my eyes and sat down in the back with a sigh.
"what is it he wants? Can't just be getting me kidnapped for some French toast."
One of the guys in the back spoke up.
"how do you know so much that's going on? I'd be freaking out by now."
I shrugged, pointing to my head.
"big brain I guess. So you know why?"
They all shrugged like last time and I almost screamed in frustration.
"so I'm being kidnapped for no reason?"
The silence in the car was tangible.
"you guys as so lucky my family aren't aware yet, you know one of them builds blazers as a hobby, right?"
The car almost swerved off the road at that.
"THEY WHAT-"
"you literally watched my grunkle Ford shook bill in the head with a lazer."
Blinking the whole car got quiet again, seemingly realising have they fucked up, well, not fully yet. They don't even know about the halfling, dream demon friends and forest creatures I have on my side as I side sadisticly at them.
"and that's not even the half of it, multiple time town hero going missing? They're going to probably turn to you first."
The car parked as they all threw themselves out the car and I walked out gracefully.
"you scare me, pines."
"I'll take it as a compliment."
'just be cause the show hasn't started.'
I looked around and realised we were at a the telepathy tent and raise my eyebrow, following as they opened the tent door. I glared into the shadows of the room and walked in, using my other senses to tell what was going on, I heard at least three sets of feet shuffling on the grassy floor. Using the natural floor to my advantage I use my weird earth sense to tell there where four people in the room, one I could tell was Gideon and the other three I could not. One of the figures turnt on the lights making me squint and blink a few times only to glare at the whole set up. In the middle there was a round table with candles and plates on it I spotted some chains, not magically binding so easy to remove, around the chair in the grass. Gideon was in front of me with a smirk and behind him where two body guard type people standing in front of someone. I glared at him.
"gleeful. What exactly is going on here."
With a wistful smile he chuckled, taking my chin in his hand.
"nothing surprising, my sweet, just a date for us!"
My eyes hardened as I pulled away from him, standing taller.
"listen, gleeful, I haven't even been friends with you- like- ever- how do you expect us to date?"
He simply blinked and giggled. Clicking his fingers as he spoke.
"because! You love you sister, don't you?"
I snapped my head to the two guards and saw them holding mable, my head suddenly turned back to Gideon.
"she was with Leo. Where are they."
Gideon looked confused, genuine confusion.
"why, I didn't see little leo. Must have been hidin' would have made it easier to have 'em here though. You'd be much easier to convince, my sweet~"
I almost threw up at that and started to think about what to do till a voice entered my head.
'PINETREE! Leo came to us! Apparently shootings tars been kidnap- oh- oh. Now I'm fucking pissed.'
He said, having obviously been looking at what I was doing in this current moment.
'w-we'll be there s-soon, starlight.'
Looking between mable and Gideon I sighed and laughed. Deciding to say 'fuck it' and lose my shit today.
"yeah, hm, how's about we don't do that and you realise the position you and your people are in, huh?"
I said, making my eyes glow just long enough for it to be noticed in the simply lit tent. I noticed a flinch before nothing and continued.
"you just kidnapped two people, threatened to kidnap another and are still to stupid to realise what's actually happening here."
I said, pulling my hands together and tilting them with my head.
"and what's that, doll?"
Gideon spoke, obviously not taking a hint as his two men fell down incopasitated.
"you're now trapped in here alone with the pines twins!"
Snapping his head around to see the two on the floor and mable staring at them stunned before she herself disappeared.
"just had to ruin my thing, huh, cipher?"
Gideon froze up as the world faded to monochrome and laughter filled the tent.
"someone has to break the annoying co-dependancy your sister has to you. Why not your friendly neighbourhood dream demon."
"d-dream demon's..."
Will muttered from behind me, pulling me into a hug tearfully.
"a-sorry, I was w-worried."
I smiled and hugged him back, not seeing the red eyes glared he gave Gideon.
"Y-YOU! YOU'RE DEAD! PINES WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HE-!"
I walked up to him and punched his face, making him stumble.
"that was really cathartic, actually."
I said, smiling at the laughs behind me as Gideon regained his balance, his nose bleeding. I felt my brain stop focusing on the surroundings as I stared at the thin line of blood for a long moment, watching it like a starved lion.
"WHAT THE HELL PINES! THEY'RE GONNA KILL US!"
That shook me out of it as I smirked, an idea coming to my mind as I grabbed the albinos shirt, pulling him to be face to face with me.
"well then, it really is a shame to take that joy from them."
"W-WHA-AAAHGH"
he choked on his blood as I shaved my hand into his chest, snapping ribs to reach his heart. Pulling it out as it continued to beat in my hand. I squeezed it and watched him spasm and choke in pain as I smirk.
"can one of you grab something so I can put this on ice, till we find out cold forest?"
"i already have a place in mind, here."
Bill said, handing me a small cooler full of ice. I smiled and tore the heart out fully, putting it in a bag and placing it in the cooler as the creep squeezed his empty chest.
"you don't mess with widegos darling, you should know this."
I purred as his fear filled eyes emptied. With a roll of my eyes I called for a kill Billy to come to this location When time unfroze. I turnt to the demons behind me and shook off my hands.
"you know, mortals need to be more considerate, so much blood."
I tsked, hand on my hip as Bill blushed floating to my side.
"they will be when we take over the world, don't worry."
I grimace.
"we?"
Will floated to the conversation, holding my bloody cheeks.
"of c-course, you're g-going to b-be a demon s-soon. You c-can rule b-by our s-side! An o-overlord!"
Will chirped to me the possibilities. I looked nervous at the idea.
"you know I'd have requests?"
"of course, heor complex we-"
I laughed and shook my head.
"oh hell no, grew out of that one. Just three really. That's all."
Raising a brow each they nodded, seemingly surprised I caved so quickly. Not like humans did much for me.
"first, the sky stays. I need that for like- 56% of my powers, and night is beautiful. You can have your tear in reality be along the floor, it'd creep more people out."
Nodding the brothers agreed nodding for me to continue.
"second, the forests and animals are left unharmed unless its for ethical hunting, like we need to eat."
"t-that mostly g-gonna be h-human anyway."
Will muttered, looking at me.
"and third, pretty obvious, my friends and family left be. You know, the rest of the wheel and the town, didn't have friends in peidmont, mom and dad can fry. So yeah, that's it. Leo will probably come with knowing them."
Bill shrugged, probably knowing that one would come up.
"sound like a deal, darling~"
He purred, turning me red. I shook my head, and rolled my eyes.
"I just killed a man in cold blood, now quick, before sets in, to that cold forest."
Bill nodded and took us to a snowy forest as I nodded, pulling Gideon head out and feeling a deep set hunger I'd never felt before. I gingerly bit into the heart, taking a small chunk off as the other two watched from a bit further off as requested. As I took that small bite, I felt my brain turn. Suddenly taking huge, staring bites of the muscley lump, all till it was gone where I fell to the ground, my red hand gripping the pinkening snow. I heard footsteps approach me as I looked through my bangs at will, who was in front of me. I heard his heart beat over the howling wind, I felt my eyes change and pounced on will, raising my hand to tear into his chest ont to be grabbed by Bill who forced me to look at him.
"Mason. Calm down. We'll get you another heart soon. But right now. You're about to feel the worse pain in your life."
My eyes widened as I felt my eyes Chang back, my body going limp as I stared at bills golden orbs. I saw will out the corner of my eyes open a portal to a room I'd not seen before but before I could look at it I felt the pain. And by fucking gods was it painful. I let out a screech that sounded inhuman and could be heard for mile. I knew it was heard by others as in the seconds I had before I passed outmy head was overwhelmed with the word wendigo, over and over, all from one direction I wanted to sprint to and attack, but couldn't as I passed out into the warm arms of my old enemy.
