LOVE VS OBSESSION?
"You said you loved me, but I only ever felt caged."
Y/N never wanted to fall for someone like him-mysterious, broken, dangerous. But Kim Taehyung wasn't just a boy with demons. He was a storm she couldn't resist... until his love...

Y/N's POV
Someone grabbed my hand. I gasped, startled by the unexpected pull-but my heart calmed the moment I saw Jeon Jungkook. His pleading eyes locked onto mine, saying things we hadn't dared to voice. His gaze held pain, regret... and something more.
Gently, I tried to slip my hand away. "Let me go, Jungkook. I've got class to attend," I whispered.
"Y/N, can we talk? Please?" he asked softly.
"Not now," I replied, avoiding his eyes.
"When?" His voice came instantly, desperate.
"Maybe later, Jungkook. My mind's too full right now," I explained.
He sighed.
"I'm sorry I embarrassed you in front of everyone. But I'll wait... whenever you're ready." And just like that, he was gone.
---
I was already late for class. But when I entered, the room was... empty?
"This is my class, right?" I double-checked. Of course, it is!
Y/N, are you losing it for real?
I muttered to myself, a weird unease settling in.
Pulling out my phone, I saw a flood of missed calls and texts.
Jennie: "Babe, where are you? We've been looking for you. You okay? The class is being held in Section A. Come quick!!"
Jisoo: "You better get your ass here, bitch. I swear I'll kill you. WHERE TF ARE YOU???"
"Shit,"
I cursed under my breath, breaking into a fast walk toward Section A.
---
The moment I stepped into the jam-packed classroom, anxiety washed over me.
This was a mistake. I took a step back.
"Ah, Miss Y/N. Early, are we?" the teacher said with a villain smirk that screamed, I'm about to ruin your day.
Shit.
"May I... come in?" I stammered.
"Of course. Come stand next to the board. Isn't it a wonderful day for punishment?" His sarcastic tone made my stomach drop.
PUNISHMENT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT IS THIS-KINDERGARTEN?!
"But I didn't know about the combined class!" I protested.
"You would have, if you were on time," he said, loud enough for everyone to hear.
Defeated, I dragged myself to the board. Every step felt heavier than the last.
Humiliation? Check. Poker face? Barely holding up.
--- As I stood by the board like a criminal in a courtroom, I could feel the stares burning into my soul. People were whispering. Laughing.
From the corner of my eye, I noticed giggles. Of course-the principal's daughter and her minions, laughing like they just watched a comedy special.
Then my gaze found him. Jungkook, sitting at the first bench, cool as ever.
Should I blame him for making me late? No. I'm still mad, but... no.
Beside him? Lucas. AKA: The Walking Cigarette
He was making pretend-smoking gestures with his fingers.
BRO. WHY.
And the worst part? I almost smiled.
No no no. Y/N, control your stupid face.
Lucas winked.
I rolled my eyes so hard I might've seen my past lives.
I scanned the room-some students didn't care, others whispered.
Jennie and Jisoo looked pissed on my behalf. I I winked to say I'm fine when in reality, I was 3 seconds away from a mental breakdown.
Then... my eyes landed on him.
Taehyung.
The Busan boy.
Why was he glowing like that? His features-his eyes, his jawline, those lips. God, those lips.
He looked like a sculpture carved by obsession itself.
And here I was, mentally undressing him with my eyes like some lovestruck idiot.
Okay, Kim Y/N, STOP. This is school, not a fanfiction.
Just then, Jimin caught my attention. He gestured toward the teacher, mouthing something.
Huh?
Perplexed, I tried to follow his meaning-when Taehyung leaned over and whispered something to him.
They scribbled on a tiny piece of paper and threw it at me.
WHAT THE-
I quickly pretended to bend down and pick it up, praying the teacher didn't see. A note? In the middle of my humiliation? Is this a love letter?!
