In the classroom, Jimin questioned my decision to discreetly report an incident.
"Tae, why were you so hesitant to tell her you reported it?" he asked, catching me off guard.
"I told you yesterday, and you agreed to it," I replied, perplexed by his forgetfulness.
"I have no idea what you're talking about; when did you tell me?" he claimed.
"Otherwise, I would have definitely stopped you," he insisted.
"Well, fortunately, that didn't happen, or we wouldn't get to see this side of yours," he giggled.
"Are you enjoying it too much?" I asked, skeptical of his amusement.
"Why not? My brother has shown this emotion for the first time. Have you ever felt this emotion before? The answer is no. So I'm happy to see you being yourself, listening to your heart," he said, patting my back.
"I'm not in love, don't think so," I asserted seriously.
"When did I say you're in love, Tae?" he questioned.
"You are new on this journey, so take your time to figure out what you feel. But don't give her false hopes," he advised, wearing a serious expression.
"After what happened today, she might fall for you," he said, looking deep into my eyes.
As I pondered whether what I did was correct or if I unintentionally gave her false hopes, Jimin noticed my confusion.
