"What's buggin you?" Turell looked over at me.
"What makes you think something is bugging me?" I ask. Turell and I were rested against the couch as a soccer game played on the television. We were both pretty loud guys while while watching soccer considering it's the sport we usually bond over but today I guess I found myself stuck in my own thoughts and Turell took notice of it.
"Well, literally your favourite player scored and you didn't even at the very least jump out of your seat." He chuckled and I shook my head. "Just have a couple of things on my mind I guess, kinda torn between some things." I say.
Turell turned his body towards me more, "Well, I'm about to become your therapist or whatever nigga so you need to tell me what's going on."
I shrug, "I fucked Zhavia."
"I know." He replied, "I heard y'all going at it when I came back from grocery shopping in the morning, but I decided to leave y'all to it so I just ended up leaving before I could reach fully inside."
"Good call," I sigh, "Cause I don't know how I'd feel with you walking in of me handling business."
"That's fucking disgusting." He said dryly.
"Right. Anyways though, yeah things were good we had our little moment together fucking around and honestly she was kinda a vibe in general. Not gonna lie I was feeling like I wanted some more today and I know Zhavia works at the school library I decided to go see her,"
I think back to this morning as I continued, "Yeah I don't know it was weird, it was like she was completely disconnected from me. She said some weird shit about how I don't get with girls like her and started telling me that Kiyana actually likes me like that and I'm guessing she doesn't wanna be in the middle of that."
"I'm not understanding the problem here? Seems as if Zhavia is tryna look out for her friend." Turell shrugs.
"Nah bruh," I say, "Her tone was off too like she had something against me or something. She also told me she doesn't even wanna talk to me either, I'm actually not sure what I did."
"You're just not used to girls rejecting you," Turell laughed, "I think you're just overthinking honestly. Even so, we been knew Kiyana liked you like that and wanted something further but we already know Kiyana is lowkey a mean girl. I can understand why you're not locking it in."
I nod, "I just don't even like her like that. Literally the last time I've ever even dated a female was in junior year and honestly, I have no intentions have getting involved with any girl romantically anytime soon and it just doesn't seem like Kiyana wants to respect that."
"You say that but you said you and Zhavia copped a vibe, who knows maybe that's the girl who's gonna break you out that corny fuck love attitude." Jurell joked, but strangely enough I could hear some seriousness in his voice.
