It's almost as if I had blinked and two weeks had passed me by and it was spring break. My mother was on vacation so it made no use of going home and Nina had planned a trip her beach house that we were all heading to right now that was going to last us three days. This trip consisted of me, Camilla, Kiyana, Jadean, Turell, Kylan and of course Nina. Jadean was driving his Range Rover while Kiyana was parked up in the front seat right beside him.
Me, Camilla and Nina sat in the middle of the car and Turell and Kylan had sat in the back. I kept forgetting that Jadean has money and honestly when I seen him pull around in the Range Rover I was nothing but impressed. I catch myself looking at the compartments of the car as we drove. I wasn't used to this sort of luxury and quite honestly I never think I will be.
The car ride was pretty fun, we all talked and laughed and reminisced about funny moments that had me laughing till my stomach hurt. I was glad everyone's energy was up cause quite frankly I really didn't want to deal with any weird tension throughout these days. Despite the fact I had seen my phone outside my unzipped purse at work that time ago, when I had spoke to Kiyana she seemed pretty normal.
She had told me she went into my purse looking for lipgloss and she just set my phone to the side and apologized for leaving my phone out in the open like that. I asked her why she left so abruptly as well and she told me she had some sort of family emergency to tend to. I decided to not question it any further though, I was more relieved that she didn't see the message from Jadean.
Jadean and I have been texting throughout this time as well, surprisingly. Our conversations have been pretty normal and casual, and I guess he's just been a person who's been easy to talk to. He's also been giving me updates on his situation with his father and having to go to dress fittings to get his measurements taken for his suit. I guess it was nice being able to talk and not having it to be all about sex. Sometimes I look back on the time we had phone sex on our first face time call and internally cringe at myself.
The ride only lasted around two hours, as pulled up to the large cabin like house that rested right on the beach side. The girls squealed excitedly at the sight of the house and we immediately hopped out the car and all made our way to the front door. Conversations produced amongst each other as Nina told us to find the rooms that fancy us the most.
Luckily the house was big enough so all of us were able to get their own rooms. There were four rooms on the second floor and two rooms in the basement. The only people who shared were Camilla and Kylan but that was very much expected. The house had tall ceilings and very spacey. I loved big open windows that the light bled through and created a bright space.
The house also consisted of a pool, a hot tub and the beach that was basically in our back yard. The basement also had a game room which had a pool table and different arcade games. We all placed our stuff down in our respected rooms and gathered back into the living room as we all sat down to debrief and discuss what is the plan for the next couple days.
