SYNOPSIS. . .

After John B was announced to have died at sea, nothing was the same. The Pogues grieved their friend. Neither of them expected John B's right & left hand people to fall into the war of love and pain. It was expected that in this time of need, they would relay heavily on each other and help each other heal the hollow hole in their hearts.

For JJ & Avery, if didn't happen like that. Their grief and hurt turned into weapons, into a competition, against the other. They couldn't take the weight of the loss, not together, nor apart truthfully. It took their friends by surprise when it was revealed that they had caved under the weight and pushed each other away.

Will they come back together when John B reaches out from the dead? The two have to work out if they are still on the same team for the gold, and for love.

Guess who's back! It has been a long time coming. Welcome to book 2!

In this sequel, a lot is due to change. I have already written a lot more than I expected to by this point and I have instantly fallen back in love with the story. It has been so fun expanding storylines, deepening characters and relationships, and picking up from where we left off. I'm hoping that the writing of this one is an improvement to the first. And I'm planning to do anything and everything to keep this story consistent, and my motivation alive. So far, so good! Your patience with me on Cigarette Daydreams was phenomenal and so appreciated. I hope this one meets your exceptions as I know a lot of you have been reading along with me for a while and anticipating this. And most of all, I hope you enjoy it just as much as the first.
