Won't make it pass the 5 months mark my ass. My woman is still standing in good health and condition.
The pregnancy has been going well and in just a month, Aubrei will be giving birth to our babygirl.
"Oh shit!!" Aubrei curses loudly from the kitchen. I get up to see what's wrong and she's standing in a puddle of liquid.
"It's okay." I give her a reassuring smile. "It was just a accident. It's fine babe."
She gives me a look almost as if she's disappointed. "This is not pee, Luca. My water broke."

Reign
"Wait! It's too early. You're barely eight months. That's not good." He panics.
"Hey, calm down. Everything's fine. Could you get the boys settled in the car and bring the maternity bag?" I ask a panicky Luca. He nods and runs to the boys room. I shake my head and go to our bedroom and change clothes.
Just as I was about to fix a nice dinner, she decides to make her entrance.
I can't decide on which to wear, even though it doesn't matter. Since it's cold here during the summer, i'll just go with the leggings and a pullover.
"Babe, what are you doing? We have to go." Luca stands at the door looking at me like i'm crazy.
"Okay, okay, jeez. I'm not about to give birth right away." I grab my purse and other essentials.

"I can't believe you booked this whole entire floor. What happened to acting normal?" I cross my arms.
"This is normal, for us." I playfully roll my eyes.
"Ugh! Lorenzo you stink." Ma'Kai says pinching his nose. While Renzo looks around the room giggling.
They're growing up too fast for me. Ma'Kai will be eleven in less than 7 months and Lorenzo will be two in January. My boys are growing up.
"So change him." Luca tells Makai and he makes a disgusted face, shaking his head vigorously.
There's a knock on the door and a new staff member walks in. "Mark and Bria Maxwell?" Luca and I both nod. "I'm Dr.Patel, your obstetrician. How are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling fine, thank you for asking." I say to the doctor. As we talk more I soon realize that Luca had him on standby and that he was about to leave for his vacation. "I'm so sorry."
"No worries, it's not a problem at all." He smiles. "Shall we see what the little one is doing?" I nod and a nurse applies the familiar cool gel against my stomach.
I notice her and the doctor take a double take at the ugly diagonal scar against my belly. Taking a deep breath I ignore them and look at the screen.
"There she is." The nurse says.
"I have to ask, Mrs.Maxwell, are you in any danger?" I scrunch up my eyebrows, for some reason the question has dried my mouth out. "I am also a forensic pathologist." He chuckles slightly. "The scar came from a knife with a serrated edge, didn't it? Is that what happened to the other twin?" He asks and I squeeze my eyes shut as he brings up painful memory.
I hate this.
"Uh, yeah." I force out.
"We'll kill her with one just like it." I hear from beside me and see the nurse is now me, well, Riley.
