"You know I love you, right?" Aubrei says to me.
"Of course baby, I love you more." I walk up behind her wrapping my arms around her swollen belly.
"And everything I did. It was because he made me." She turns around and looks at me.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" I question.
"Before you kill me, please hear me out and know that I had my reasons." She says slowly fading away from me.
"Baby, what's going on?" I say. Right before she disappears completely she kisses me.
I hear beeping, constant beeping. And it's aggravating my soul.
Opening my eyes the first thing I do is check my surroundings. Hospital room. I'm hooked up to a machine, and I have no reason why. Oliver is on my right snoring his ass off.
Looking at the time I see it's almost 4:30 in the morning. Grabbing the closest thing to me, it being a remote, I throw it at him.
"I wasn't sleep." He says and I roll my eyes. I am about to speak until I realize there's a feeding tube in my mouth.
I sign to the asshole call a doctor.
"I'm only understanding 'doctor', Oh! call a doctor. Why didn't you just say that?" I wish I had the strength to punch him.
A few hours later i'm unhooked from most of everything.
"What happened to me?" My throat burns at the words.
"My God. How did your voice get even deeper?" Oliver places a hand on his chest.
"Oliver." I huff.
"Okay, okay." He raises his hands up. "How far do you remember back?"
The last clear scene I can recall is at the Dal Bon's house. The basement. Amber. Aubrei. "Amber. Is she dead?" He nods. "Aubrei killed her?" He nods again.
"Turns out you were sleeping with the enemy." He says sarcastically. "Sorry. Now is not the time for jokes."
So my assumptions were right.
"Where is she?"
She stood right in front of me and lied to my face. And my dumbass believed her. Everything was right there and I ignored it.
This is my own fault.
"We don't know." He gives me a concerned look. "Are you okay?"
"Who is we? Who all knows?"
"I knew you wouldn't want this to get out. So only me, Nick, Marco, Hudson, Jonathan, your dad's entourage, and your grandfather."
Shit.
"Where's my dad?"
"Still sleeping beauty."
"Where's Des, Kian, and Ameer?" He tightens his fist.
"This coma made you miss a lot of things."
"What things? All of this happened yesterday." If I remember correctly.
He furrows his eyebrows. "You've been in a coma for almost four months, Luca."
Four fucking months??
I wonder what chaos has happened while I was out.
"So what are you saying about them?" I feel my blood start to boil.
