Tsukki POV:

Suna wanted him, it was obvious to anyone with eyes. They probably had a lot in common too, what a pain.

After all of the rotation, I sat beside Yamaguchi.

"Talk to anyone interesting?" I asked him.

"Yeah a few people I guess."

"Like...?" I prompted, wanting him to expand on the specifics.

His eyes wandered around the room before meeting mine again, "I'm bad with names Tsukki... What about you though?"

"Sure whatever. Not really, just some pretentious over-excited assholes." I shrugged.

After the team building session ended, it was time for lunch. There was a massive cafeteria with servers behind each kiosk and tons of tables all in rows.

How social.

Karasuno were one of the first to get plated to we sat down in a timely manner all together as a team. But soon enough, a hoard of boys started gathering around and sitting with us because of none other than Yamaguchi- it was getting pathetic.

"I really like your hair."

"How many piercings do you have?"

"Did your tongue piercing hurt?"

"Your freckles are cute."

I finally stood up, after having finished my plate- I was planning to get back to the dorms as soon as possible. Socialising with Yamaguchi's fan club wasn't really on my to-do list.

Yamaguchi turned to me, "Where are you going?" he asked.

"Dorms. I'm done." I said, gesturing to my empty tray.

"Can I come with?" he asked casually, but I could tell he felt uncomfortable, he was practically pleading with his eyes.

The boys surrounding him glared at me as I nodded a yes. They were like little fruit flies, everywhere that you don't want them. I could understand Yamaguchi's discomfort.

After the long first day, everyone was completely knocked out. Apart from Hinata and Nishinoya of course. I could never understand where they got their energy from.

When curfew hit and lights were finally out, I took my glasses off and put my eyemask on, preparing for an undisturbed sleep.

That plan only lasted so long because soon after it sounded like someone had caught a cold or something. There was sniffing every 30 seconds.

Just get up and get a tissue for god's sake!!

As if my prayers had been answered, the person did indeed get up and shut the door behind them.

That, I didn't understand. Our dorm had it's own bathroom which contained tissue's, napkins and a bin. What on earth more would anyone with a runny nose need? Maybe some tea? Probably.

I tried to not fill my mind up with too many things so that I could work on falling asleep again but I couldn't.

Yanking my eyemask off, I grabbed my phone from the nightstand. It was 12:57am.

Had I really been awake this entire time?

The person wasn't back yet either.

Should I wake someone? Coach? Daichi? Yamaguchi?

It was too dark to see anything, especially without my glasses.

I ran my hands along the nightstand before grabbing and then putting on my glasses. Using the dim light from my phone, I moved it around the room so that I could navigate to the exit.

Upon doing so, I walked into the dimly-lit hallway.

This is exactly what they tell you NOT to do, but then the main character's bestfriend in the horror film still does it and dies a gruesome death.

I didn't believe in manifestation, but I was almost certain that some shadowy figure in the distance had started coming towards me.

Yep, my time was up.

Why run? I set myself up.

"Tsukki?" the figure spoke.

Despite wearing my glasses, I still had to squint. The lighting wasn't doing my sight any justice. As it came closer, I realised, "Yamaguchi??"

"Ya hi, what are you doing here?" Yamaguchi asked me.

"I heard someone get up and leave and just simply not come back. It was keeping me up.

"Oh sorry Tsukki! I didn't mean to wake anyone, I just needed a smoke." he said apologetically, looking at the carpet.

"A smoke at past midnight? Yamaguchi you can't keep doing this." I said, slightly disappointed.

"This is a one-off!" he shrugged, trying to walk past me.

"How comes?" I asked him.

"It's nothing. Go back to sleep." he dismissed me.

"Tadashi. Tell me." I said, looking him square in the eyes.

"Jeez Tsukki, it was just a stupid bad dream. No big deal."

"It sounds like a big enough of a deal to have you huffing in poison at 1am."

Yamaguchi rolled his eyes, "I'd like to sleep now." and began walking back to the dorm.

Hot on his heels, I gave up with the prodding and said, "Fine. But you know you can talk to me about this stuff, no matter how stupid you think it is. I'm your bestfriend."

"I know Tsukki, it wasn't a big deal though. Goodnight!!" Yamaguchi winked.

I wonder what his bad dream was about.
