The laughter and excitement of the party filled the air, but Tsukishima felt a familiar knot of tension in his stomach as he watched Yamaguchi from a distance. His usually aloof demeanor was shaken, and he couldn't quite pinpoint why.

Yamaguchi was radiant, basking in the attention of his teammates and, more notably, Suna.

Tsukishima leaned against a nearby tree, trying to appear nonchalant as he sipped from his drink.

But every time he glanced over, he saw Yamaguchi laughing too hard at Suna's jokes, their cheeks flushed with something more than just the warmth of alcohol.

The sight gnawed at him, igniting a spark of jealousy that he wasn't prepared to confront.

Yamaguchi briefly caught Tsukishima's gaze and went over to him.

"Are you going to stare all night, or are you going to join us?" Yamaguchi's voice broke through his thoughts as he approached, a playful smile on his face.

"Not everyone is as eager to play party games as you are." Tsukishima replied, keeping his tone dismissive. He hated that he felt defensive, like he had something to protect.

"Come on! It's the last night! You're missing out!" Yamaguchi pressed.

"I'm fine here." Tsukishima said, crossing his arms, trying to maintain his usual indifference. But his gaze betrayed him, flickering back toward Suna who was now looking at the two boys.

"Seriously? You're going to sulk over here the whole time?" Yamaguchi's voice had an edge of frustration now, and Tsukishima felt his resolve wavering.

"Yes, don't worry about me. Enjoy your time with Suna." Tsukki snapped, the words slipping out before he could stop them.

Yamaguchi blinked, surprise flitting across his face. "What's your deal, Tsukki?"

"Nothing. Just... you seem to be enjoying his company a bit too much." Tsukishima said, forcing a casual tone, though his heart raced.

Yamaguchi furrowed his brow. "What do you mean?"

"Just... I don't see why you'd want to flirt with him when I'm right here." Tsukishima said, unable to keep the bite from his voice. The admission hung heavily in the air, and he regretted his words almost immediately.

"Are you seriously jealous?" Yamaguchi asked, incredulous.

Tsukishima's silence was damning. He opened his mouth to deny it but found no words. Instead, he clenched his jaw, frustration bubbling inside him.

"Why would you care so much?" Yamaguchi challenged, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Because it feels different this time," Tsukishima admitted, his voice dropping to a low murmur.

"What do you mean?" Yamaguchi asked, stepping closer, their expression shifting from frustration to something more serious.

"Never mind," Tsukishima said, frustration boiling inside him. "Just forget it. I didn't mean to ruin your night."

"Tsukki..." Yamaguchi started, but Tsukishima felt a rush of embarrassment and anger. Before he could say anything else, he turned and started walking away, needing space to breathe.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Yamaguchi called after him.

"Elsewhere." Tsukishima shot back, his tone sharper than intended. He didn't want to deal with this right now.

But as he walked further into the shadows of the camp, he heard footsteps behind him. It was Suna, his voice smooth and casual, but tinged with curiosity. "Hey, what's going on with you n Yamaguchi?"

Tsukishima scowled. "Nothing. Just leave it alone."

Suna raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Ya looked pretty intense back there. Jealous much?"

"Why do you care?" Tsukishima snapped, irritation rising at Suna's teasing.

"Just trying to make sure yer not ruining a good time." Suna replied, shrugging.

"Stop acting like you know anything." Tsukishima scoffed, feeling his cheeks warm. "You think just because you flirt with them, they're suddenly into you?"

Suna laughed, a low, mocking sound. "Come on man. Obviously they're into me, ya wouldn't get it."

"Shut up." Tsukishima said, fists unintentionally clenching at his sides.

"Oh what's wrong? Too scared to admit that ya can't do nun about it?" Suna taunted, stepping closer, his smirk growing wider.

"You don't fucking know anything about me." Tsukishima cursed, the heat of anger rushing through him.

"I don't need to. I'm only civil with ya because yer Tadashi's friend. They're happy I make effort with their friends and they give me good fucking head when they're happy." Suna shot back, and that was the last straw.

Before he could think it through, Tsukishima lunged forward and shoved Suna, "Don't you fucking dare talk about them like that!"

Suna stumbled slightly but quickly regained his balance. "You're just mad because you know I'm right!" he shouted, shoving Tsukishima in response.

"Keep Tadashi's name out of your dirty mouth you asshole!" Tsukishima yelled back.

"The fuck did you just say to me?" Suna responded, and they lunged at each other, throwing punches almost instantly.

The two of them fought for a moment, both fueled by alcohol and frustration, it was a sloppy fight.

A couple of the others noticed and rushed over, trying to separate them.

"Hey! What the hell is going on?" Tanaka yelled, grabbing Tsukishima's arm while Kita restrained Suna.

"He started it!" Tsukishima spat, breathing heavily, adrenaline pumping through him.

Suna huffed, trying to break free from Kita's grip. "No way! He's just mad that Tadashi likes me!"

"Tadashi doesn't like you!" Tsukishima shouted, the words spilling out before he could stop himself.

"Guys, chill out! This isn't how we celebrate our last night!" Asahi interjected, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Let go, I'm fine." Suna said, shaking off Kita and walking off.

"You're seriously fighting over Tadashi? How do you think they're gonna feel when they hear of this?" Kenma from Nekoma said, before walking back to the larger crowd.

"Cmon Tsukki, let's get back to the others. Act casual." Hinata said.
