TRIGGER WARNING: BLOOD AND GRAPHIC CONTENT AHEAD

。・゚゚・(six months ago) ・゚゚・。

(Harry's POV)

I took deep breaths to the best my body could allow me as I assessed the damage done to my body within the past fourteen hours. Let's see; I took another breath just to allow my nerves to fire off in the places that ached the most. Broken ribs to the last maybe 7-9 on my left side, lacerations to my back, thighs, and inner biceps, various bruising to my abdomen and face, possibly broken nose, and I believe I'm starting to lose feeling in my hands from lack of blood flow, considering I've been hanging by them for over half a day. I peeked up slightly to the sound of footsteps on the deck above me, singling hourly guard rounds, also my way of keeping track of the time.

I tried to listen to the ramble of voices above me after hearing a second pair of steps make their way on deck, noticing they were much lighter than the other. I smirked a little through my previous grimace as I would finally be receiving a visit from the captain. I raised my head to not look dispirited as those light steps made their way around and down the steps below deck where I was being held.

"Well... don't you look like shit," she said flatly, pulling up a stool.

"Uma~ I'm touched yer finally gracing me with yer presence. I must say I am quite surprised yer crew found me so fast after I came back, since ye'know... ye have Gil as your first mate now. Tell me, how did it feel ta struggle ta keep yer territory when I wasn't around ta scare the dogs off yer lawn?" I said cockily with the biggest grin stretched across my chapped lips. She raised a brow as she sat down and scoffed, shaking her head.

"You got a lot of nerve you know that? I'd watch my mouth if I were you considering your life is right back in my hands again, just like it always has." She said smoothly and sighed as my face slowly fell, visibly relaxing in her seat "Don't need your daddy paying you another visit~" she smirked wide as my face faltered slightly, fear chilling me to my core at the thought of going through endless hours off torture again.

"Sorry." I gritted through clenched teeth as I glared at her harshly with furrowed brows. I flinched at the whip of the cold draft hitting my body for the hundredth time since I've been hanging here, trying not to shiver or show any more signs of weakness to this sea urchin.

"Apology accepted~" she sang out and laughed menacingly "So why did you get kicked out the A-club huh? Break that poor princess' heart?" she said tauntingly with a fake pout. I just scowled and looked away, feeling my heart tug and throb as I remembered her for the first time since I had got here. "Aw Harry, don't worry, we'll take good care of you again," she said darkly and got up before walking around to where I hung. She got up close with a gleam in her eye, her face just a couple of inches from mine as she slowly traced my cuts and bruises with her index finger. "I have a job for you..." she whispered, trying to catch my eye.

"If you think I'll get down on ma knees and work under ya again yer out of ya mind," I growled and flinched my head away from her hand as it came closer to my cheek.

"It's either you work for me, or you die down here," she said calmly and lowered her hand.

"Than I'd rather die," I said, staring at her straight into her cold, emotionless eyes. We stayed that way for a moment in silence, the only thing to be heard was the shouts of the crew and waves gently pushing up against the ship.
