(Third Person POV)

Ruby and Harry had comfortably spent the rest of that Saturday together, with Lonnie popping into the room at some point to grab a couple of items. They ate and talked and watched movies together till the evening when Lonnie returned to sleep in her bed that night.

"Goodnight Harry," she said with a kind smile and a wave as Ruby led the boy out of the room and closed the door behind them.

"My bed should be set up in my old room again, so I should be good for the night." He sighed as the girl stood on her tippy toes, wrapping her arms around his neck. He snaked his arms around her waist and gazed down at her, quietly admiring the features he grew to love.

"Well, I hope you get a good night's sleep then." the princess said quietly and ran her fingers through the sides of his hair, making a small hum vibrate from the back of his throat as he closed his eyes.

"I hope you do as well darlin'." the boy said. His mouth parted in bliss as her fingers worked their way through his scalp, massaging and scratching all the right spots. She giggled a little and slid her hands to his shoulders, making the boy pout.

"Before you go, I wanted to let you know since you've been away for so long, that I have a showing at the gallery tomorrow afternoon." She said shyly as his eyes popped open again.

"Oh yeah? Is it for ya end of the year portfolio?" He asked with a few curious blinks. She smiled wide at this and tilted her head.

"You remembered?" She crooned and held his cheeks, giggling happily.

"Of course, how could I forget anything from that day we met." He said and brushed her cheek with his thumb, grinning when she placed a kiss on it suddenly.

"Well, you've been reserved to be there since the fall, so if you wanted, I do hope you come to see it." She said bashfully, looking away as this was a pretty vulnerable piece of her to be on display for not just everyone attending but for him, most importantly.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." He whispered and pushed her chin to face him again. She smiled again and blushed at his charming gesture before he leaned down to place a slow kiss on her lips. The girl's face flushed hot, flustered at how only just a week ago she was dreaming of this night after night. Harry pulled away just barely and noticed her red face, smirking as a low chuckle escaped his lips.

"1:00, don't be late," she whispered and looked up into his eyes through her lashes as she actively kept herself from indulging in his lips further, knowing once she would start she wouldn't be able to stop.

"I'll be there." he said softly, giving her one last quick kiss before he pulled away fully "Goodnight lass~," he said as he walked down the hall to his old dorm.

"Goodnight," she said and watched him go till he disappeared around the corner. "Tease..." the princess muttered to herself with a huff before going back into her room.

It was an hour before the gallery opened and Ruby had just finished getting dressed (outfit above) before heading out. She had her hair in long braided pigtails that just fell short of the ground, the thick pieces bobbing and swaying as she walked across campus to the gallery. She got there in about twenty minutes and greeted the staff before finding her teacher. A genius in her own right, Janice Porter.
