Sunlight streams into Ace's office as the air carries the smell of our takeout meal. I'm seated across from Ace, and his table office holds a spread of food and drinks. Ace playfully glances at me while taking a bite of his sandwich.

"So, do you always bring a feast when you're planning to meet up for lunch?" He asks and I chuckle, popping a piece of sushi into my mouth.

"Hey, I just like to be prepared. Plus, I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I ended up getting a bit of everything," I defend myself and he grins, shaking his head.

"Fair enough. I'm not complaining," he admits and we share a smile. "So, Olivia, tell me more about your art," he says, leaning back in his chair, his expression genuinely curious and I smile.

"Well, I've always loved sketching and painting. It's a way for me to express myself and capture the beauty I see in the world. Lately, I've been exploring different styles and techniques to push my boundaries," I explain and he nods, genuinely interested.

"That's great to hear. You know, I've always admired people who can create art. It's like you have this unique lens through which you see the world," he comments and I blush at his compliment, my heart fluttering.

"Thank you, Ace. I think teaching has a similar effect, though. You have the ability to shape minds and inspire your students," I remark and he chuckles.

"I appreciate the sentiment. But honestly, I think I'm still learning as much as I'm teaching,"

We chat smoothly, moving from fun jokes to meaningful talks with ease. Minutes fly by and our lunch comes to an end. Ace glances at the clock and sighs.

"I hate to say it, but I should probably get back to work," he points out and I nod, finishing the last bite of my meal.

"Yeah, same here. Thanks for the lunch, Ace. I really enjoyed it," I speak and he smiles warmly, his gaze lingering on me.

"Me too, Olivia. We should do this again sometime,"

"Definitely," I agree, a genuine smile tugging at my lips.

As I pack up, a warm satisfaction fills me. While getting ready to go, Ace's hand reaches out, making me stop. He approaches, his demeanor changed, sending a thrilling sensation down my back.

Instinctively, I step back, my back brushing against the door. Ace continues to advance, his gaze locked onto mine with a magnetic pull. My heart races, uncertainty and anticipation swirling within me.

"W-what are you doing?" I ask, my voice barely a whisper, as my heart pounds loudly in my chest.

He doesn't speak, his gaze locked onto mine as he nears. My breathing quickens with every step he takes, and I find myself stuck between him and the door. His hand extends, brushing my cheek, igniting warmth within me. Heart pounding, I meet his intense stare.
